The updated assets are quite decent, and generally do a good job remaining grounded within the Portal/Portal 2 art style. It's great to compare between the original/new assets, and to pick and choose which ones to swap.

Pathtracing isn't perfect, displaying flaws in line with other real-time raytraced visuals, such as on shadows of moving objects.

I have personally been getting pretty playable framerates with a 2070 Super at 1080p with some minor tweaking to the ray tracing. The performance hit is extremely taxing when comparing Portal RTX with regular Portal. Without some form of DLSS enabled, you will be in for a bumpy ride.

Not a perfect experience, but a great curiosity, and a promising framework that nVidia has developed to be applied to future DX8/9 titles.

Tons of fun with friends with lots of fun to be had.

It's fun putting this game in front of indecisive individuals.

One of the best features in the games is the ability to rage quit at the speed of light by spamming Esc.

But honestly, it's a great game for the price, and it will keep you busy for a while. :)
