Yet again another company took the parts of a game everyone loved and threw them in the garbage.
The game play is garbage to the level where I'm assuming this is a cash grab.

It's just not fun. Hard to play in more then 10 min stretches. These company's always want to reinvent the wheel. Stick to what players enjoyed.

This should have been put in a city based setting not islands. The size of the game is what kills it most I think. And not sticking to the way things worked in the first.

It is not Left for Dead, so do not play it like Left for Dead.
It is a very good strategic game and for the price it's very worth it for the replay factor.

This is a great game to teach a new player, or for a seasoned player to improve.

I am a long term fan of The Guild series. With that being said. This game looks like it has potential. But..
I feel this game was stripped of all of the things the fans loved about the guild. Unless you want to run a few businesses and see what can get you the most money, this game is not for you. I do not recommend this to new fans to the series. I would love to be a part of fixing this and reporting bugs and issues.

I have played this game for at least 10 years, and it always is just as great as the first time.
