I have been playing since the first Alpha/Beta and it's mostly upgrades to the games.
There's a really good inmersion into what a real time action DnD would be, lot of choices and progression and you can really feel the love and care behind every design.

I really recommended it.

The game not only have it's own amount of issues, but also HAS huge issues.
Base game was lacking at the start in a lot of directions, might have been justified because of the situation the developers were at the time, but it's still an issue for the user.
Eventually most of those issues were fixed and with Sunbreak it went in an even better direction.
Still, the game is not perfect, not a single MH game is perfect.
There are things that you can hate... No tracking of monsters, a faster pacing, wirebugs are a weird system that either you hate it or you love it, balance can be kinda a mess because of them... Endgame is grindy in a confused and weird way, keybinding sucks.
But you can find a huge amount of issues in World or previous games, not to say this makes the game untouchable to critics but I think even with the worst issues the game is still worth a try.
There's a lot of content, lot of armor and weapons, lot of monsters and challenges, the story is decent and the map/hub design top tier.
Give it a try, it cannot be that bad!
