If you ever get the chance to play Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons, then do so. This game has such a beutifully crafted narrative that you don't want to stop playing. Add in gameplay mechanics that continually challenge the players traditional video game skills with puzzles that perfectly match the gameplay mechanics, you have created one of the best games of 2013, if not the best game of 2013. If you like story in video games over mindless gameplay and value the experience you get from games like Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons, then it is a must-play. I will also add that this is the first game to make me cry since The Walking Dead so if that doesn't pique your interest in this game, I don't know what will.
