If you like making things out of sheer spite, this DLC can help you do just that.

On one hand, I do find it more hilarious than the typical positive affirmations you get through the main game.

On the other, I honestly wonder if there will be a 'middle of the road' sort of deal where yes, you have your fans who appreciate what you do, but you get the occasional skeptic who reevaluates their spending habits after you send the commission off. For giggles, of course.

Free to Play, it's all right. Naturally more fun with friends when you're able to coordinate what you're doing. Otherwise, it's a bit of a coin flip regarding whether or not you get in a team with decent players.

Sure, you can unlock other champions via purchasing, but going off of other reviews, that may not be a sure thing either.

Other than that, there's only four game modes which may as well be 2.5 game modes: Onslaught [Team Deathmatch], Payload, Seige [Capture Objective, then push Payload], and Seige Remix [Same as before, just across 3 classic maps]. Honestly, I wish there were other game modes available. There's no Capture the Flag or straight up Deathmatch or anything along those lines.

To parahprase a certain ambiguousamphibian; If you like playing Rimworld but wanna know what it's like to be Randy Random, this is it. And honestly, it certainly scratches that itch of causing problems on purpose.

I've had a great laugh. Whether it's causing an upset by informing a vampire that his illegal vampirism was being reported by a hypocritical vampire neighbor, giving a music hater a hit list of people who play or sing music in the realm, or kidnapping and imprisoning the very angels that were sent down to punish me for my fowl deeds, it's all great fun.

An adorable and relaxing puzzle game that falls under the "easy to play, hard to master" category. But if you're not interested in racking up a high score, there's also a Creative mode for you to create your own hex map, too.

Best way to relax and make a mess without the fuss of needing to actually clean up afterwards lol

Watched a couple armies, various powerful mages, and even entire packs of bears be devoured by local gummy bears of the Candy biome. 10/10

Islanders was a bit of a surprise for me. I had read bits and pieces about how this was more of a puzzle game than an actual building game. They were right; this is a unique puzzle where you accumulate as many points as you can while building island after island.

For the gameplay, you pick between two choices of building types per turn, such as farms and their appropriate fields, lumberjacks and lumber mills, masons, etc. These families of cards get added to a deck of sorts that you draw from at every turn. Some buildings are compatible with land features or other buildings, earning more points for being built near them.
As you progress and unlock more building types, you find that some buildings are simply incompatible with one another, thus deducting points from the potential total. Shamans enjoy the beauty of nature, but hate industrial buildings. The Resort Oasis loves nature, but loathes being near the population. Redundant buildings can even have points deducted for being too close to one another, making it a challenge to even build basic structures like lumberjacks near a prime cluster of trees.
Earn enough points, even if you don't fully flesh out your city, you can move on to the next island. If you fail to accumulate enough points to earn the next draw or unlock the ability to move on, that is when you reach the end of the game.
Honestly, this is where I find the most fun; discovering the most compatible cluster of buildings and trying to build accordingly given the island that I am populating.

Oddly, this is one of the few games where the main game honestly is far more fun than the sandbox thanks to the scoring system. Something about scoring high enough to earn the next hand of buildings to place down is far more satisfying than just placing buildings with little to no consequence.

My only gripe is as of posting this review, my highest score is a mere 5780 and I haven't gotten close since I attained the score. Normally, I would also add that having people running around the place would make the world more organic, but this is one city building game where thanks to the concept, it doesn't feel necessary to have people roaming the map like ants.

All in all, this is a neat little game that really only requires the mouse to play. Keyboard is totally optional.

You are a part of a team of dwarven space miners that shoot bugs while harvesting resources. Surprisingly fun, beautiful visuals, and the bigger bugs do feel like one hell of a challenge to tackle. Figuring out the boss bugs may take a couple tries, but once it clicks, you don't forget easy. The teamwork in this game is great as well, for each dwarf job has their own specialties, but also have their own way of helping out the other team members on the job.

Karl would be proud.

When compared to the browser client, the Steam version handles far more easily. The ability to import assets and be able to play with individual layers is far smoother than the browser version. It's worth the money if you find yourself in need of maps, but cannot find any to your liking.

There is far too much to praise about this game. The music, the farming options, the fantasy elements, the roguelike dungeons, and especially the stories of every townsfolk you can befriend. It's the best of Harvest Moon with playful magic at work. I'm so glad Chucklefish allowed multiplayer for this game.

As I am writing this at the start of July 2019, I can honestly say I'm looking forward to the multiplayer updates to come.
