Became King of Jerusalem when I was just a child. My grandfather, a pious Serbian Catholic, devoted his life to the Pope, some say he was the most important factor that the crusade for Jerusalem succeeded. My father, short reigned, killed by the saracens. My crazy lunatic reigned as my regent, surrendered to the saracens and lost the southern territories. Thanks to my wise council, he was shortly replaced with a more competent regent.

Until I became of age. I forged great alliances with England and France. I took back the southern territories and took Damascus from the Greeks. But all of my efforts for creating a thriving Christian country failed when Pope decided it was unchristian to marry your own sister. The wicked Pope did not respect my lifestyle. Muslims declared Jihad for Jerusalem, the great Saljuk army, who had recently taken over Egypt, joined them. I called for help. No christians came. I was excommunicated. They called a crusade for Anatolia, instead of helping me. They had moved on. I resisted for at least 8 years. No help came. There were attempts on my life by my two older sisters. Nobody was on my side except my sister-wife and me. We had to flee. We went back to Serbia.

It was a peaceful life there. Until my younger sister died, the love of my life, the forbidden fruit. She was just 49 and died of cancer. A few years later our son, our genius son, one of the greatest warriors ever died of cancer at 23. I was depressed. I had no one. I made peace with the Papacy and decided to become celibate. I contributed a lot to the same holy orders that abandoned me when the Saljuk army came knocking on my door. You can say I was the bigger man. I joined the Crusades on the Byzantine Empire and helped forge the new Catholic Latin Empire. In return I was crowned as the king of Serbia.

It's time for me to die, but its ironical how once a incestous excommunicated sinner is now rumored to be declared a saint.

Do not buy if you don't intend on aquiring the DLCs ;)
I probably have more than a couple of thousand hours in this game. Lots of memories. Been playing since it came out. Bought it only a year ago (or 2?). This game was soooooooo good that I had to buy it to support the devs. And I'm from a messed up country with a failed (and recently collapsed) economy. Let's say that this game costs A LOT over here, especially with the DLCs, maybe around the monthly minimum wage.
