Awesome game - super fun to get together with a pal and duke it out for a few hours!
Very cool maps with a great diversity of layouts and environments. Every match feels distinct as it's always a surprise what map comes up next - you could find yourself in an arena reminiscent of Quake, or a silly ice world where you and your weapons are sliding all over the place. (Highly recommend the DLC to support the devs and get those extra maps!)

V Rising is certainly up there as one of my favourite games of all time! The combat, the base-building, the character customization.... every feature is executed to an extremely high standard. It has a ton of QOL features that make the game pretty friction-less to play, from being able to sort chests quickly to the way that the doors open and close perfectly with your run speed. These little polish things just add so much to the game for me, it shows a lot of thought and care has gone into this game :)

Whether I'm brooding in my immaculately decorated castle or hunting for blood amongst the peasantry, I am having a GREAT time. 10/10 experience, highly recommend. The devs have really done an incredible job - they have a lot to be proud of! Bravo, Stunlock!

Phenomenal. I'm completely blown away by this game.
A truly horrifying mystery told through a beautiful melange of cinema and game play. Masterful work in letting the player's own curiosity drive progress. This game will stay with me forever... I feel like it's a part of me now.

An EXCELLENT mystery/detective game, on the same level as Return of the Obra Dinn. You will *feel* like a detective playing this game. Do not let the art put you off, it will grow on you very quickly.

I will be the first to admit I'm not a huge fan of colony sims. However, I have found this one quite accessible for someone new to this genre and I have really enjoyed my time with it!
The systems are deep and complex, and well tied together. There may be a learning curve for new players (like me) but once you get yourself sorted, you will have a BLAST managing all your little dudes (as I like to call them) and building up your base.
The pixel art is gorgeous and there are so many fun little details - like how atmosphere fills in the map the higher you go, the cute animations and portraits of your colonists, and I gotta say I *love* the colour palette of the taiga biome!
The fact that this is made by ONE PERSON is an enormous feat in and of itself. The game is frequently updated and it constantly blows my mind seeing how much content, bug fixes, features and options get added in on a regular basis.
I highly recommend this game!!

I really enjoyed this! Phenomenal art - every detail is so lovingly handcrafted, playing this game is an absolute feast for the eyes. The story is really well written, the characters are very distinct and memorable, and each scene you walk through feels so ALIVE.
I will say that the game is short and does end abruptly, and the ending is disappointing. The experience was still worth the price for me though.

Valheim is easy to jump into, and will keep you enthralled for hours on end. Highly recommended!
