I pre-ordered this absolute ♥♥♥♥ show of a release for 90$ and can't recommend it to anyone. It may become playable in the future but it is far from fun in its current state. Stealth doesn't feel fun it feels monotonous and trivial. Loud plays somewhat alright but generally feels lacking in comparison to Payday 2. Nothing feels good to level where a significant difference is made to how you engage in loud combat, there's no perk decks, the weapons are boring, the heists are just alright. If you want a good heisting game go for Payday 2 which regularly hits $2.99 on sales. Unfortunately, the devs have lost my trust and I won't be purchasing any future DLC because they can't deliver a quality product for the amount you pay.

I bought this game after having played it for years on Xbox One. I have to say any positive thing I could say about this game was all nostalgia or Stockholm syndrome. If you want a good Dark Souls game you're better off overpaying for DS: Remastered.
If you're looking for an RPG with interesting mechanics, however, you have come to the right place. Dark Souls 2 takes everything you like about Dark Souls and adds a twist for better or for worse. If you like the combat of Dark Souls you may like this entry's slower take on it. If you like fashion souls you'll love the fact that most armor ends up being completely irrelevant outside of some pieces providing passives or stat boosts. If you like the world design of the original Dark Souls but hated running back and forth to places until mid-game, DS2 has you covered. You get the ability to teleport right from the start as long as you have one other bonfire discovered. Sure this means that the world design creativity suffers heavily, but no more annoying run backs to Andre to upgrade (even though the design of the map always made that quite easy, but I digress). If you enjoyed picking and choosing which stats you want to level for that cool sword you picked up earlier, there are a ton of options available, even without infusions, which adds for quite a bit of variety in builds. However, you also need to burn a couple levels into adaptability so that rolling can feel half as good as it does in any other souls game. The only thing DS2 has that beats out the other entries, hands down, is power-stancing, which we wouldn't see again until Elden Ring.
If you enjoy a challenge that is fun and fair, I would not recommend DS2: SotFS, there's a laundry list of flaws that keep this game from being as good as the original release of DS2. If you haven't played Dark Souls or Dark Souls 3 yet I strongly recommend skipping this entry until it goes on sale because paying $40 for a game that feels this awful to play is a waste of time and money.
Also, Miyazaki didn't even direct this game why are there like four poison areas?

(First I need to preface that if you are considering buying this game you will most likely need to mod it to fix some stability issues for windows 10+ this can be done easily with a quick google but if this is a deal breaker for you be warned)
If you haven't played Fallout 3 you're missing out on the best Fallout experience available. Fallout 3 hits a special niche for people who like FPS games, RPG games, and simple fun games. Don't want a super expansive and intimating list of skill trees? Good, you only have a handful of skills to level up. Want to min max your build? It is fairly easy to do and worth your while. Want a fun game to play that you don't have to think too much about playing? BOY HOWDY IS THIS THE GAME FOR YOU. Obviously I recommend playing through and paying attention your first play through, but you certainly don't have to. This is a huge credit in my opinion as something New Vegas simply doesn't understand is that not everyone wants to read an entire essay every time they meet a new character. Sure everything is voice acted, but I am not waiting for the VA to finish when I could've read it long before they're done talking. In short, great game with super fun and surprisingly deep rpg aspects while still being simple and enjoyable.
A great game for people of all skill levels and backgrounds.
Hundreds of hours of gameplay and high replayability
(Actual play time between Steam and Xbox ~1000hrs)

The community is awful and full of double standards. If you run decisive strike killers will ♥♥♥♥ talk you for using it, even though they are running noed (an insta down perk). They will also get upset if you quickswitch, because then they cannot see if you are running items and cannot run perks to counter you. Even though survivors cannot see the killer so there is no way to know what killer they are playing as. Killer mains also believe running a flashlight is a cardinal sin and if they don't use a perk to essentially make your flashlight useless, they will constantly chase you and camp you so you die and your flashlight is utterly useless. In the end I don't care about the game anymore, the devs have destroyed it beyond belief, such that it just isn't enjoyable to play survivor because killers are all just annoying to play against. They even boarder overpowered with the perks that they can use and add-ons they can run. If you want to play killer on the other hand, you better not like skill based gameplay... Playing killer is so mind numbingly easy that it becomes a monotonous grind. Unless you challenge yourself and refuse to use perks and addons there is no actual challenge unless you are missing a good deal of braincells. Granted, once you hit the higher ranks there is a degree of challenge thrown in assuming that every survivor is actually high ranked and not boosted. It is one thing when the community of the game is toxic and divided in such a way that they hate each other, but it is something else when the devs only seem to listen to a handful of people that play at the highest ranks. I made it to rank 1 as survivor in around 100 hours and made it to rank 11 as killer in roughly 15-20 hours before rank reset. Most players that argue about perk changes and such do not consider lower ranked survivors and killers and turn away newcomers to the game.
TL;DR: Game isn't that well balanced and community is beyond garbage
would give a 7/10, but just because of the community I have to give a 4/10.

Amazing game, satisfying gameplay. High replay value 11/10. Can only really harp on the hit reg, slightly inconsistent, not intrusive though. Can't wait for the next update, hopfully the ability system is as flawless as the current build of the game.
