Simple premise but that's what makes it fun

Hesitant to buy since it had such a buggy launch but it was a pleasant surprise how much has changed since.

For the most part, everything runs smoothly and the updates seemed to have squashed a lot of the original bugs. So far the story and gameplay has been great, There's enough reviews of this game out already so best to just try for yourself.

fun looter shooter with mmo elements

Not as good as you'd hoped it would be but a good time sink for the casual gamer.
Overall some parts of the game are head scratching while other parts leave you wanting.
After ~48 hours played here's a list of pros and cons

Pros
1. Great dinosaurs with great variety, the FK update throws in a bunch more! (Awesome unique sounds and color varieties, plus the dino's particular needs per pen makes it a unique challenge to how you want to organize your dinos)
2. Ian Malcom and the Cabot Finch add great dialogue to the park (The others.. not so much esp. fake Chris Pratt's passive aggressive comments)
3.Being able to control the Rangers, Gyrospheres, and the Helicopter was immersive, allowing you to get a ground's view of the park itself.

More cons than pros so here's a short list of cons.
1. Strange faction interactions where if one gets more attention than the other; they behave like petulant children and they start sabotaging the park. (Science will poison the dinosaurs???? seems a little contradictory)
2. Can't really add aesthetics to decorate your park.
3. Dinosaurs and Visitors don't really have much of an AI so it could be a little weird. (Dinosaurs stand in a giant circle when socializing, and the visitors like to run into the dinosaur pen rather than into the emergency shelters I built for them)
4. The sandbox island is a lot smaller than you'd want it to be, considering you have unlimited funds.
5. The terrain constraints are a bit frustrating to work with but not necessarily a dealbreaker
6. While you play through the islands, the way you start each one is not really different from the other islands. The same dinosaurs are incubated, the same buildings in the same order (otherwise you face bankruptcy for the most part). There isn't much diversity when it comes to the islands altogether. (outside of the occasional storm that might break something)

Although it may seem like I have a lot more cons on this list.. it doesn't necessarily mean I didn't enjoy the game.
I did! I just wish there was more to satiate my desire to immerse myself in a more "Jurassic" Jurassic Park.

hands down felt like I was playing through a collage of the episodes
albeit played more like an indie game but by no means a downer, worked to its advantage.
