The best D&D game ever produced, in my opinion. Updated after official release

Visuals: 9/10
Beautiful environments of every variety, swamps, forests, caves, and more. Animals look a little rough at times and some graphical artifacts pop up occasionally. Greatly improved since early access.

Story: 9/10
Early developments create a sense of urgency, and branching storyline choices give the player the power to shape the world to their liking.

Gameplay: 10/10
Larian's experience with turn-based strategic gameplay shines here. Engaging, fun, and full of possibility. The depth and complexity of the player's interaction with the world exceed anything I've seen in a game.

Kingdom management has improved with updates over the past year. The addition of a kingdom management mod (Nexus mods) and bug fixes have significantly improved gameplay overall. This feels much more like the Pathfinder experience I know and love from tabletop.

The best RPG of 2011 and a worthy successor to Oblivion.
