Amazing Space RTS with 4x elements.
No Solo campaign - its very much make your own story.
Three interesting and unique factions.
Massive fleets, with varying scales of ships with soft rock/paper/scissor game-play.
Star System maps - that don't really make any realistic sense - and multi-Star maps I've always found to be a bit too much to play on.
Graphics still hold up.
Performance is good.
Multiplayer - lobbies tend to be empty - best bet is to play with friends, or ask on forums and discord groups.
Battle on a pseudo 3D plain - its not quite Homeworld level of 3D movement, although there is actually a (rarely used) key to move units up and down on the Z-axis.

The BEST part about this game however are the Mods.
The fact that the upcoming sequel SIns 2 has developers from some of the communities best mods should tell you something about the quality and range on offer.
Fans of:
Star Trek have Armada 3 or Sacrifice of Angels
Star Wars has Interregnum or Thrawns Revenge II: Ascendancy
Halo has Sins of the Prophets
Stargate has SGR

The list goes on.


All in all after 1000 hours O_O I would say this is still one of the best RTS's out there.

THE space RTS - still the best of its genre and will likely continue to be for some time now it's been remastered.

Downloaded and installed fine, no issues so far. Full campaign from both HW1 & HW2, Skirmish Mode and Tutorials as well as Multiplayer [BETA]

The word EPIC does not give this title justice.
