This game is... incredible. LEGO games have always impressed me, but the depth and breadth of this game is just awesome. A large quanitity of the dialogue sounds like it was pulled directly from the movies (maintaining audio quality, of course) and the LOTR soundtrack is perfectly laid over the gameplay.

The environment is massive, spanning the entire LOTR trilogy. It's said that you could literally walk from the doorstep of Bag End to the core of Mount Doom - It's all entirely open world and full of little treasures to explore.

The challenges scattered throughout the map add a fair amount fo replay value.

Overall I definitely recommend Lego LOTR to my friends and other members of the Steam community.

Dark Souls is an extremely challenging - but equally rewarding - game which puts the notions of difficulty and gameplay mechanics to the test. While the game is lacking unless played with mods (DSFix and DSCFix), and almost impossible to interact with without the use of a gamepad, it makes up for the flaws with excellent gameplay and an addictive, customizable playstyle.

The multiplayer aspects of Dark Souls are fairly weak, but can be excellent when played in close cooperation with friends. However, achieving this level of cooperation requires support of functionality that isn't included with Dark Souls.

The fact that Dark Souls uses GFWL is an extreme drawback - Every person I know had to implement some sort of fix for the GFWL client. However, this is being solved in Dark Souls 2 and should make the game much better.

Definitely recommend buying if you already own a gamepad (preferably an Xbox360 controller), and if it is on sale.
