I should've done my research, and that's on me, but this game is not Online Co-op.

There is no coop modes, no dedicated coop systems. The "coop" is just the PvP versus mode against the AI. That isn't coop, its just bots. I have never seen Anyone describe bots as coop.

ETA: Playing the multiplayer "coop" mode and the game constantly breaks and needs to be restarted. Not a great experience at all

Fun, but short. Other "Survivors" style games offer much greater replay value for the same price. I don't expect to see everything within a few hours. Big dommy mommy is pretty much the only draw to this game, but after one "complete" run there's nothing but the reused voicelines, nothing new.

Game does not load. Probably needs you to create exceptions in the firewall but I wouldn't trust it

This game started as being one of my favourite battle royale games on the market and has done absolutely everything to stay there.

The game is fast paced and super fun to move and shoot in.

There were some minor performance issues early, but they never bothered me too much (just couldn't watch youtube on my second screen while playing) and they've all been fixed quickly and well with plenty of transparency on their progress.

The only issue with the game is the current player count is too low. I don't know if its just my region (Oceania) but there aren't many players. This has been mostly fixed with the inclusion of secret bots. They act similar enough to new players that you could theoretically confuse a bot and a newbie, but they aren't hard enough to kill that each game becomes a slog. This means in almost every game the last few people alive will be real players who are completely geared and fed up on bot blood. Meaning the last fight, the one that Really matters, is always the most fun. And the games aren't long enough to be mad about wasting times on killing bots.

Where's the walkers? Where's the epic roaming around? I came for sandships, and got Conan Exiles instead. That, and the official server breaks every 2 minutes, forcing me to log off and then back in and getting rolled back slightly. The reason why I looked at this game was because it was an always moving survival game with a unique system that stopped you needing to ALWAYS play JUST this game like Rust.
Just get Conan, its got better PvE and leans into its unique feature instead of removing it.

Deleting a character doesn't free up the name to be used again.
I kind of want to see a bot take all the names now.
If an MMO uses this sort of system, I don't want to know what's happening in the backend.

Its a fun little game, but there's not much to it.
My standards for VR games are 1) Does this REQUIRE VR (Think movement games)
2) Would this be worth it without VR

Honestly, this is more of a flash world builder than a full title. I enjoyed messing around in it, but even on sale it wasn't really worth the price. Only unique thing is VR, which does add much but the scale of it.

Touching the moon was funny though.

When I first played the game was a little buggy and very confusing, and rewards were few and far between.
There's still a few issues, like unable to resize the main menu and not able to do things when queued for a game, but its Very fun to stomp around in giant mechs and the community is amazing.
Hopefully it gets even better this year!

Looked interesting and like a fun game to chill through, but so many features just missing.
I can look past it looking like an XBox 360 titles at times*, but there's no FOV slider or even the ability to rebind keys. I cannot play at the provided FOV without becoming nauseous.

I don't care if they're in the roadmap or planned releases. Having a skin pack and season pass available on release but lacking key and COMMON accessibility options is just scummy.

* This is not quite true. I experienced bad frames and heavy ghosting during the opening cutscene that made it similar to better done cutscenes on the 360. The little gameplay I experienced had decent enough graphics with an occasional dip in quality. It is passable for a non-AAA game in this regard.

edit: Fixed some spelling mistakes and added the * appendix

I loved this game when I first played it, and still loved it when I stopped in 2018. No reason, I just moved on. This game, and style of game, has lived rent-free in my head that entire time and I just realised that there are new updates?! And people are playing it?!

So, this game. Old school Battlefront 2, but with more features and expanded to still be appealing enough on modern systems with a gritty near-future skin over everything instead of Star Wars. Its insanely fun to stomp bots, and I fondly remember 1v1ing my friend in bot matches and barely being able to tell who he was as the battlefield ebbed and flowed in push and defence.

Can't wait to see where this game goes, and I'm going to buy the soundtrack to give the devs a little more cash.
