After playing the game for over 1,700 hours, I think I can state a decent opinion about this game. The basegame is vast, has a solid campaign, vehicles and weapons. I'll list the good and the bad.

The good:
- Long campaign, truly a sandbox-like experience
- Customizable guns lots of customization and time can be spent creating the perfect special forces character you're only going to use once.
- Plenty of vehicles for all different factions
- Graphics are honestly still up to date-ish. But it's slowly starting to show it's age.
- Basically unlimited playtime in multiplayer server and units, no scenario or mission is ever the same
- The modding community is vast, lots of mods to choose, you can even play as Star Wars and HALO characters (!)

The bad:
- Sacrificing your newborn child is necessary to get good modded performance or in scripted or big servers
- Gunplay and vehicles can be very clunky at times (See line below)
- Physics aren't actually existent (You hit a rock in a boat? You launch faster than Apollo 11, to the moon!)
- Most of the DLC could honestly have been added to basegame.. like Marksmen, Karts, Helicopters, Tanks and Jets. I do realize that creating these take a while to create, but Marksmen, Karts and Helicopters don't really add a big amount of content for their price. In my opinion, it should have been bundled together under 1 name.

Overall it's a pretty solid game, I really like it, I'm having lots of fun with friends doing missions and messing around, it's a great game for that, would recommend, just not at the full price anymore. The game and its DLC are on sale quite often, so you should have no problem getting your chance.

Also watch out for rubberbanding or desync when driving close to eachother. You can blow up quite easily. Keep your spacing!
