This is my go-to rally game now. It checks all the boxes from accessibility to handling. I can sit down at my rig, use the buttons and joysticks on it to control all the menus, and enjoy the whole game without having to futz around with mouse and keyboard which I really appreciate. I can hop into a time trial for a quick fix, or into career for longer stints. I can drive on any surface I want around the world and compare my times to the rest of the world. I can choose between a more arcade style, little-to-no damage. Or I can crank up the realism and worry about breaking every little bit of my car throughout a stage.

Supports my sim rig setup. (Moza R16, HE Sprints, HE Seq., HE Handbrake and Moza H-pattern) Feels great to drive. Stages are beautiful and driving surfaces are very well done. It feels more like driving a car than a lot of sims out there. The FFB lends to a natural feeling of the car beneath you.

There are issues, of course. Some performance problems, AI being inconsistent in career mode, weird little bugs here and there. However, the devs have been consistently fixing these issues. The performance and bugginess have improved drastically since launch.

I love this game. Thank you, Codemasters.

It took me a bit to get the FFB dialed in on my Moza R16, but once I did, it felt like one of the best driving sims I've ever used. I am so excited to drive more in this. It's the first time I've been excited to use my sim rig in a while because of Forza. I have only done a few career races, but it's been so enjoyable. One of the three starter car choices is a WRX which I happen to own in real life and driving it in the sim feels eerily similar to reality. I didn't expect it to be so good, but it sure is.

After dialing in the control settings and getting all my hardware working properly, I'm having a good time! Really enjoying the feel of the cars and remembering how bad I am at driving them.

I'm using a Moza FSR wheel on an R16 wheelbase and HE Sprint pedals and everything works great!

Also Monaco is whack IMO

An absolute wonder of a game. Feels amazing on my sim rig. Cars handle mostly as you'd expect the real thing to. Destruction is fantastic. Endless mods for maps, cars, scenarios, etc. Infinite customization and tweaking, but not necessary at all. It is one of the all time greats.

I don't know if I've laughed harder while playing a game in a long time. The natural interactions that happen in Onward can be hysterical. Yes, there's plenty of screaming kids but that isn't a huge deal and doesn't (usually) take away from the game. Guns feel good to manipulate, information is fed to you well while you're playing. No hud elements, just visual indicators like the screen going gray when you're injured and your FOV choking up when you're taking close fire. It's a very nice experience and lends itself to very cool moments clearing buildings and doing all sorts of tacticool stuff. Community maps add to the experience as well!

This is a real gem. Played for 3 hours with my wife last night and enjoyed every minute of it. We built ourselves a little house, then I accidentally made half of it collapse by removing the ground under it. Chaos ensued. It feels so much more enjoyable than a lot of games that come out nowadays. There's something about it that, I feel, will keep us coming back to it.
