Undertale.
This game has revitalized my faith in games... I'm not even kidding. It's best to go into this game as blind as possible, so I'm not going to talk much about the story here, but it's comedic yet simultaneously deep and fascinating, with characters that you can't help but love. The gameplay is interesting in the sense that you don't actually have to kill anybody that you encounter in the game, and the way that enemies attack in the game gets rid of one of my major gripes with RPG-style games. The soundtrack is absolutely superb.

Do yourself a favour: get this game and play through the three primary endings. You will have a brilliantly funny, eye-opening and challenging experience. My favourite game in a long time: DUNKED/10.

MGSV is a fantastic game: there is no doubt about that.
The game is split into two chapters. The first chapter focuses on the main story of the game, and is simply brilliant. There are some amazing characters and the game really gives you a free reign on how you wish to play it: do you want to play stealthily or do you want to destroy everything that breathes? It doesn't matter, MGSV lets you do both. I can't exaggerate how brilliant the first chapter of the game is, and the story as a whole for the entire game was one of the best I've seen in a game in a long time. It isn't required that you play Ground Zeroes before this game, but I'd recommend it as some key points in the game touch on events in Ground Zeroes - as for playing the other MGS games before this one, the game features some Casette Tapes which will explain to you practically the whole MGS storyline, and also give you access to some cool songs such as Take On Me by a-ha to strap onto your helicopter so you can infiltrate a base whilst having
'ILLLLL BEEEE GOONNEEEEEEEE
IN A DAY OR
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO'
blaring out loud.

The game isn't perfect though, with most issues coming in the second chapter of the game: the majority of the missions are simply more difficult versions of previous levels, and the story progresses very slowly... there is a wonderful moment near the end of the chapter where your bonds with your team are really tested, and MGSV was actually very good at making me feel emotional in many moments, but for the most part, the gaps of having to do SIDE OPS to progress the story (which was suprisingly detatching) and having a major part of the game end unresolved due to a cut part of the game (the majority of which can be found in videos online) was very dissapointing...
Also, Quiet is so painfully oversexualized that I felt like this game was geared for 12 year olds at some points, and having unlockable costumes for her which literally make her a solid silver or gold colour just screamed to me all sorts of 'What the hell!?'

Overall, I strongly recommend the game. There are great mechanics, for example, being able to abduct enemies and have them work for you on your Mother Base... however, I think it's these where the game stretches itself too thin. Previous MGS games are story-oriented, and offered hours upon hours of story cutscenes... in this game, there is very little of that, and the story almost feels insignificant in comparison to the SIDE OPS, MISSION DEPLOYMENTS and reorganizations of your Mother Base which the game very heavily tries to steer you towards. The game has a lot to offer, and is a masterpiece... as a Metal Gear game, though, I think that some fans of the franchise may be left dissapointed due to the fact that the story, although with its intelligent twists and turns, really seems rushed out of the door following the start of Chapter 2: the cut content helped to satisfy this a bit, but actually almost made me even more frustrated, due to the fact that the content (at least the cutscenes) looks relatively close to completion, and I don't see any reason why they shouldn't have been included in the game, even if it's only as a half-finished cutscene.

I very much recommend you pick up this game if you can, regardless of if you've played a Metal Gear game before or not: there's a lot of variety that the game has to offer, so it appeals to a wide audience, but this also means that the game sometimes forgets what it truly wants to be. To be blunt, I actually think that the game would have been better off without the second Chapter, and have just had one last long cutscene and the final mission... oh well, this game will be milked for all it's worth.
