This game was running rather poorly on my PC, making it overheat a lot more than it should. Also, it crashed my computer so hard it took a couple days for it to function normally again. I'm not sure if this was my mistake or if other people had similar issues, but based on my experience, i can't recommend this game, which is a shame because i was quite enjoying it.

Just buy it if deckbuilding and roguelike is your thing. The game mixes both genres in a fresh and satisfying way, with multiple ways to beat the spire (none of them particularly easy though)

It is pretty good

The Binding of Isaac reigns supreme amongst roguelikes.
In my opinion, it is THE best roguelike out there, in terms of replayability, gameplay and overall enjoyment of the game.
It has LOADS and LOADS of content: a LOT of secrets, hidden itens, characters, bosses, hard challenges.
Two runs will never look the same: the synergies you get from different items will keep you hooked. You always want to experiment new things, looking for that sweet perfect OP run.
TBOI: Rebirth is a fantastic remake of the original Binding of Isaac, a solid purchase and a MUST-play for lovers of the genre.

As a fan of both Touhou Project and Metroidvania games, i can say they did a pretty good job with Touhou Luna Nights.

It is rather short, but offers plenty of content. It implements Sakuya's time shifting powers into a Touhouvania, making you feel all-powerful when you master her abilities while still providing a good amount of challenge, especially towards the endgame. Controls are tight, it offers plenty of variety in special powers and the fighting mechanics are unique.

Story is pretty simple: Remilia is bored, creates an alternate world (because Reimu would be pissed off if she was messing with Gensokyo) and sticks Sakuya into it. There are some twists and turns but overall it is straightforward, and honestly it doesn't need to go further, story is not the focus here.

Also, it is nice to see the EoSD cast shining once again in another Doujin title.

Of course, if you are a Touhou fan you'll most likely make the most out of the game, but pretty much anyone that enjoys metroidvanias will have a good time with it.

TL;DR: While the gameplay itself is somewhat generic and repetitive, the interaction between Komaru and Toko, the heavy themes discussed in this game and the overall story itself makes up for it, leaving us with a great game. It has its flaws, but it is good.

As for my actual review:

The strength of this game lies in its story. The way the characters are portrayed (aside from one character i think was written questionably, which is Haiji), are fantastic (props to the relation between Komaru and Toko, both of them had great character development throughout the game, especially Toko, since we have seen how she was portrayed in the first Danganronpa game and what she has become). The Warriors of Hope were great antagonists, and as you unravel their traumatic backstory you can see how messed up the themes adressed in this game are. Also, towards the end of the game, you are faced with some very interesting moral questions, and i liked every bit of it.

The weakness of this game is basically its gameplay. I would not say it is bad, just very repetitive and way too easy (mind it that i've played it on normal difficulty). The monoku-man "challenges" are just obvious and not challenges at all, and the boss fights are kind of disappointing (except the ones towards the end of the game).

I will also mention that this game has a lot of fanservice, which could draw some people away. If you are not okay with that, consider it before playing this (and i'm looking directly at the "motivation" scene while writing this).

Overall, this game is good, but i would not recommend it for everyone:
-If you are a fan of the series and enjoy (or don't mind) the repetitive shooting aspect, you are most likely to enjoy this as i did.
-If you are a newcomer to the series, start with Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. This game WILL spoil you of previous Danganronpa titles. I'd also say it is a risky recomendation since the gameplay in UDG is not representative of the whole series.
-If you hate shooters, don't buy it, just watch the gameplay on Youtube or read a summary of the story.

Do you know that sweet feeling when you are calmly walking down the streets and, out of nowhere, you get hit by a truck and wake up in a hospital?

That's how it feels to play 100% Orange Juice! A game filled with cute characters, silly voices, great soundtrack, utmost pain and despair, and lots of DLC characters that are actually worth the purchase!

Come experience the suffering in a game up to 4 players where luck dictates your every move, and by "luck" i mean the most miserable bad luck a person could possibly be exposed to!

Get your hopes and dreams crushed by a boss that only rolls "9s" against your puny and defenseless "1s", but immediately laugh as he also destroys every other player in the game!

Play with 2 more friends and join a lobby with a random guy, make sure all three of you pick Poppo as a character and witness the downfall of a man as this poor individual gradually succumbs to madness!

How could i not recommend this game?

Danganronpa V3 is arguably the best looking game in the franchise. Graphics and characters sprites are just beaultiful to look at, and the UI and visual design, specially during the class trials, are incredibly well made.

Regarding the cast, i think it is overall the best in the series. All the characters were interesting and unique in their own way, and none of them felt like a filler or were too underdeveloped. The japanese voice actors are pretty good also.

The story is just great. I see a lot of complaints regarding the ending of V3, and to be honest i can understand why. While playing the last segment of the game i was not buying any of that, and when i finished it i stared at the screen with a poker face. But i gave it some afterthought, some time to let it sink, and all things considered i actually ended up enjoying it. It was an unusual way to end it, of course, and the developers could have taken another approach if they wanted, but i liked the final product, despite what everyone says.

Danganronpa V3 is an amazing game and i honestly couldn't recommend it more.

My only complaints: Hangman's Gambit is, sometimes, unfair because it is IMPOSSIBLE to guess what the hell the word(s) is/are and Psyche Taxi just goes on for way too long and is kind of boring really (I liked the Logic Dive skateboarding from D2 a lot more than this). The other trial minigames were fine.

This game is AMAZING. If you haven't played Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, play it before this one.
Be careful of spoilers, they could ruin your experience.

Now go and enjoy D2: Goodbye Despair yourself.

This game starts awfully slow. In fact, so slow that i found it difficult to get into it.
I was trying to play coop with a friend, but we both gave up after a few hours into the game.
The initial dialogues are long and uninteresting and IMO the quest markers give you very little indication of what to do or where to go.
I'm not sure if the pace speeds up midgame, but even if it does, i'm not willing to play and see it.
