Not sure where do I even start with Strangeland...
Wormwood made a very difficult game, not in terms of difficulty itself, although change to a more classical point-n-click adventure difficulty was nice, I enjoyed the puzzles a lot, not to say Primordia puzzles were bad per say.
But story wise, hoo-boy, I didn't expect for an PnC game to hit this close to home, especially for someone who's been in depths of self-loathing and loss of loved family members. You went above and beyond with this one Wormwood, and especially you Mark, if I remember correctly that you are the one who wrote the story for this game.
I hope to see more works like these from you, thank you for giving us a game of this caliber and tackling such heavy topics. This is your best work yet in my opinion.

A Hat in Time is an platformer game made in style and design of old 2000-era type of game, and honestly it was done in a right way, the boss fights are challenging in their unique ways, soundtrack that goes well with the levels you are on, the art style alone is one of the most unique and cute aspects of this game. Now that I've finished it I can see why the "Hat Kid Religion" exists, and I surely can see myself come back to this title every once in awhile.

I would state the positive and negatives for this game here, but I honestly can't get myself to say anything bad about it, most of my gripes with the game come from personal preference and my slowest reaction time.

Certainly a must-buy.

Rainbow Six: Siege is an competitive 5v5 shooter with unique operator and destruction systems, don't let Rainbow Six fool you into thinking its in anyway resembles the old series of games in this franchise, only similar thing it has is some similar names here and there.

Positives:
• Unique operators the game has always give each match a fairly fresh feeling, with different tactics and gameplay on each of the map and sites.
• Destruction system changes the level play-field in its own unique way.
Negatives:
• Ubisoft is always been on buggy side of the gaming industry, and this game suffers from same plague that all other titles they made, infinite amount of bugs that can ruin the gameplay.
• For the competitive shooter this game has insufferable issues with net-code, where each hit-registration has almost a second delay.
• I can't stress it enough, but if you are making competitive shooter where each shot counts, never, never-ever make everything client-sided, a small difference in laying on the floor body can cost a victory in the match.
• Ubisoft seems to refuse to balance out some of the out-right broken and overpowered operators, resulting in endless power creep where old operators become more and more useless.
Personal Nit-picks
• Ubisoft continues their policy of region-locking game languages in their games, leaving some of the players unable to give proper call-outs, which is crucial in competitive shooter.
• Some of the loot boxes policies on holiday look completely predatory, and its not okay.
• By far, Siege has the most toxic community I've seen in years.

Rainbow Six:Siege is a promising good game, but if Ubisoft continues to go into the same trend of refusing to fix the game glitches and broken balancing of the game, it might lose a good chunk of the player base and its a real shame, and for the love of god, make bodies and debris server-sided.

Killing Floor 2 is a next installment in the franchise, but in all fairness can be considered a re-boot of the series compared to it previous steampunk art-style the game stays true to its formula of being mainly PvE shooter with a streak of balance to always be challenging enough to players on all four difficulties, despite all the good reception I would say that Tripwire can't find a good middle in balancing their perk-class system and weapons, leaving some perks out right useless.

Positives:
• Killing Floor 2 is made on Unreal Engine 3, giving it a nice visuals and graphics overall on all kinds of machines with little performance issues on both low-end and mid-to-high end machines I had while playing it.
• The game continues evolving and receiving updates past their early access scene, slowly crawling to the same amounts of content that previous game had.
Negatives:
• The balance of perks really asking for the better, as some perks are either out right useless or very situational at best.
• The balance of some of the weapons seem strange at worst, and sometimes feel very questionable, deleting some high-skill elements in favor of more casual audience.
Personal Nit-picks
• Perks like Survivalist don't benefit the game at all, and is really questionable pick the higher into the difficulties you go, because the perks he "should" be replacing can do that job much better then he is.
• In-Game store seems to never have sales, which is unfortunate as I personally think even holiday type of sales for Christmas and Halloween would really benefit the financial part of the game.
• Playing on lower difficulties usually ends up with you solo-ing the final boss while your teammates keep flaming you for not helping them while they was on the other side of the map alone.

Killing Floor 2 is a fairly good game, but it still has a long way to go to get out of the shadows of Killing Floor 1, it's a worth it purchase so far, but I would recommend grabbing it on sale.

Early Access Review
Having some prior experience in ARMA 2 and Project Reality mod for Battlefield 2 I joined the game knowing well what I'm signing up for.

Positively speaking the game is lots of fun even then playing without friends, team play and communication is one of the best things in this game from my experience, unlike many multiplayer FPS shooters this game forces you to communicate with your squad and will punish you hard for playing lone wolf style, playing with unknown people is actually nice considering this is the most fun and good communities I been in years, each squad role has its use and playing Medic was the most fun I had in games since Team Fortress 2 years, you actually feel the scale of battle and how you personally affect it.
On negative side game still lacks in optimization department where some city or forest dense maps take heavy toll on my framerate, some features work strangely when playing Medic role, like inconsistent places of where to aim to heal or revive ally, despite how much I like this community playing on foreign servers can be a bit of a trouble of communication between squad leaders, not everyone use English language to communicate with each other and it can lead to miscommunication and friendly fire accidents.

Positive:
A big variety of roles to play as, none of squad roles feel useless and each of them are helpful for the team.
Each faction is fairly fun to play as and have their own range of tactics to turn out victorious.
Nice mix of Battlefield and Arma, without Arma's absurd controls and bugs, and without battlefield's casuality.

Negative:
Optimization still needs a lot of work but in its stage it preforms fairly well.
Strong lack of vehicles and factions compared to Project Reality, which is probably a subject to change as game will go to the next stages of development.

Would I recommend to buy this game?
If you are a fan of war simulators, absolutely yes, if you really want to get into the genre of war simulators this game is probably the best option out there to give it a try.

Black Mesa is a fan-made re-imagine of Valve's 1998 game Half-Life on modern Source 1 engine.

+Better visuals on all sides, with a lot more characters visual look, as well as return of familiar faces like Eli Vance and Isaac.
+A lot more of dialogs between characters, which feel a lot more lively when original game had, aswell as spot-on acting of Isaac VA.
+Despite lack of Xen, game plays a bit longer then the original game.
~Some gameplay balance seems ridicolous on hard difficulty, as damage of Alien Grunt's weaponry for example.
~H.E.C.U. Grunts AI got more dumb with this rework because of using HL2's Combine AI.
~Some sections of the game give major frame drops in very visual heavy chapters, like Surface Tension.
~Some original placement of guns and gameplay elements have been replaced.
-Sometimes game can be a buggy mess.

Despite the game's many flaws I would still recomment it for buying and playing, be it full price or on sale.

After playing Payday 2 for roughly 1.500+ hours, I guess I can finally give my opinion about it.

Starting from the positive note the game is pretty fun if you have friends to play with, patience to play with random players in public games, and will to forgive alot of issues it has and developers who only at the end of game life cycle started to iron issues out and fix whats been broken.
But on negative note, game still has a lot of problems, starting from lack of anti-cheat system in place, half-toxic community and mods that shouldn't have been created in the first place, game also still have gamebreaking issues like random crashes for some people, even though I rarely encourted any and even if I did they where patched on the next day or week, or because of mods when I was "play-testing" them to see what they truly are.
Developers (Overkill Studios) has a lot of controversy behind their name that they got over the course of game life, from constant line of DLC content to lies about microtransactions, all of which seems to be been tied up to their publisher rather then the studio itself.

Positive:
  • A big variety of content which now isn't hidden in hundreds of DLC packs.
  • Skill tree and Perk deck system offering a wide range of play styles.
  • Big variety of different heists with option of stealth and loud tactics
  • Wide range of characters with unique voice lines and look

Negative:
  • Poor weapon balance rendering some weapons useless and some obsolete for certain difficulties, even though you still can finish a big part of highest difficulty heists with weapons breaking 180+ damage barrier.
  • Poor difficulty balance and Police Enforcement AI, which is most obvious on highest difficulties where enemies become bullet sponges and use blind rush tactics against you, compared to old difficulty AI where Police Enforcement was put in groups, such as grunts hiding behind Shield and BUlldozer specials.
  • Game is still suffering from still high ammount of bugs and issues which still need fixing.
  • Existence of mods which give you info you shouldn't know about, such as how many Police Enforcement grunts and specials are currently on the map, how much time untill police assault break and drill to finish, and cops health in exact numbers, which honestly remind me of a few certain cheating tools created for PD2.
  • Game is really suffering from cheaters and lack of anti-cheat tool in place.
  • Game is really hard to pick up, despite tutorial levels now existing in the game, and I feel like their existance should be more obvious for new players.

Would I recommend to buy this game?
Well, yes and no, despite Overkill Studios finally seeing their faults and efforts to fix the game, the damage is already been done to its reputation and gameplay value, if you have friends to play with, its really fun and has high replay value and it will worth the price you paying, but if you going into it solo, I recommend to save your money on other game titles, if you are still convinced to go into the game solo, then you better get the game on sale.
