Edited from a previously negative review, in light of the reversal by Sony. This game is pretty enjoyable with friends and still so most of the time solo or in public groups. Plenty of meme fps action moments going on, and depending the difficulty it can be intense.

Sadly I am forced to give this a negative review based solely on the decision to require a linked PSN account. This is enough for a bad review simply because Sony cannot be trusted with personal information and cannot be trusted to not sell player data scraped from linked Steam accounts.

IMHO Requiring players to create and/or link accounts with a company that has the track record of Sony should be enough to see the game removed from this platform.

Great game, too bad back 4 blood was not on par.

A fantastic game that you might like, but you don't have take my word for it.

For the title price this already has been a worthwhile purchase. When you consider all the features and gameplay it kind of feels like this one is being slept on a bit.

The day has finally come to see this gem of a game go on sale, a day for so long has been almost a meme among its fan base.

Getting through the tutorial I am already of the opinion it has never looked, played or sounded this great.

The success of this game is entirely deserved, and for the creators who have simply asked for donations over the years up until they were forced to move forward with an official release due to health problems I wish them all the best.

Updated to nominate this game for labor of love!

This product was worth the money. However it has now aged to the point where it's original design and features would absolutely need an update. Foremost the Micro USB has not aged well compared to its other features and an upgrade to USB-C would be essential.

Another feature I would like to see updated is the back plate compression bumper being more pronounced for a better feel in the hand and feedback when used. Others here also bring up valid suggestions, but the above is what came to mind when considering a review for this product. Would very much like to see a new version released.

Updating for 2022 release. My opinion of this game is still that it is very enjoyable, from my experience this was a great release. Mod community is full steam ahead which is great to see. Base game can be very challenging on higher difficulties and is fairly robust for running a campaign.

Again as it should be the mod support is spectacular and really gives the game a long term value as seen with Warband.

Was not going to write a review for this game but given it is part of the Steam Awards badge figured I would give it an honest opinion.

While it is very clear this game still needs much work to be done on the base campaign and multiplayer support. I cannot say enough positive things about the current state and direction of mod support. This alone is worthy of a thumbs up. The new mod kit that is still in progress is already a great tool that is firmly in the hands of a creative community and imo is worth the title price alone.

There is already awesome projects in the works for single player overhauls, and when the development is said and done I can see there being great multiplayer additions as well.

Decent combat with immersive story and little fantasy (no long eared hippies thank you!) set in our own history where you can be a good guy or bad it is up to you.

Simply one of the best games on the market, this title is worth every penny and then some.
