It's good - I've just got 100% achievements and will probably keep playing it for a little while yet. It took me a bit longer to truly love in comparison to the original, but I did end up liking the new mechanics and Melinoe's moveset. The story is solid, the gameplay well paced, the new boons feel good to use. The weapons all feel pretty equally balanced, though I have some gripes with a few aspects.

I'm less of a fan of making boss fights harder through just adding more enemies, or filling the arena with AOEs, though.

I'm not sure there's a better recommendation I can give than the fact I have a 100% file and am still playing through again.

Excellent strategic gameplay, phenomenal writing, great story and just an all round good time. Who doesn't love a good bit of defenestration?

Good game, I am bad at it.

Excellent game, fantastic atmosphere, engaging world. Gameplay was solid too, though it really is the feel of the world that keeps you coming back.

Good. The game is good.

Throw axe. Shoot bow. Swing axe. Good combat.

Story. Is there. Gods exist. Make them not. Son is "boy" and only "boy". Take ashes up mountain.

Sidequests good. Dragon. Golem things. Good.

Buy game. Is worth. Played initially on controller but prefer keyboard.

Worth cost.

That was insane. This game hit me in the feels so many times, so consistently. It has an amazing story, with compelling characters and choices that feel like they actually make a difference. The mechanics are well made, the setting is gorgeous. There's a section midway through that made me smile a lot in particular. I won't go into details but swords are cool.

What's not to love? Honestly, I couldn't give you much. Looking back on some of the chapters and some of the possibilities, I don't understand how other people got them, but that's for a replay.

Which I will definitely be doing, by the way. Cannot wait to play Wavelengths.

A tough game to get through, but worth it. Combat can be a bit clunky, but the whole atmosphere of the game was amazing. The game manages to create a looming, claustrophobic atmosphere throughout, and the audio is fantastic. Despite not being explicitly a horror game, this game had the scariest section of any game i've ever played. Well worth playing.
