Unfortunately i don't think this game compares at all to Farcry 3, having not played Farcry 4 i wouldnt be able to comment but the amount of hours i spent playing Farcry 3 were a lot more enjoyable than the 16.5 hours i've spent playing this. Already completed the mainstory, and dont really want to do the Wenja missions which are so repetitive and dont really do anything for my tribe apart from add people to it which i dont need. The beasts hunt missions have been ok, sabretooth being the worst ( as he just runs away at 2000mph ) but the great scar bear was a bit more enjoyable and i liked the bloodtusk mammoth one the most. My biggest gripe is this; why the hell is the combat so easy! no matter what setting it's on you can just grab your bow and hit headshot after headshot and the enemies don't really challenge you in anyway. Even then if i don't use the bow, being able to just sprint around 1 hit enemies with spears is a bit simple too easy. Didnt understand the two handed club, it was so much easier to use the one handed and just yet again headshot them or throw it at their face? Defeating ULL was just hit and run and hit and run and hit and run, and the naked woman ( cant remember her name) was yet again as simple as let loose the bloodfang sabretooth and just crouch behind a rock and shoot her in in the head. The graphics are beatiful and the animals are amazing, but why the ♥♥♥♥ cant i ride the great scar bear???? But sure i''l ride the little sabretooth and the other bears? I've also managed to glitch into caves and underneath the map a couple of times, having to fast travel to get out of there and i've also had my tamed beats just randomly jump into water and die? Taking outposts is also incredibly easy, i dont really use the owl because you can just run and gun whereas in Farcry 3 i HAD to use binoculars and take my time doing it stealthily or a heavy would absolutely destroy me! I understand it was hard as theoretically anyone with a spear to the face should die so you coudlnt make it too unreal but i just expected more with the combat? i dont feel foraging for al the rocks etc was too strenuos as i just legged it round the map picking everything i saw up, albeit the rare stuff was a little harder to get. the story was ok ish but seemed rushed and didnt really have a point for me, and none of the characters seemed to be that important. Takkar for example is a beast master and a wenja AND THATS LITERALLY ALL WE KNOW there seemed to be no development and with no coop mode it makes Farcry Primal seem like a DLC that is defintely not worth the £40 i payed for it. Not recomended at all

if this was actuallly free it would be one of the best games out their. but its not, so its terrible
