Unplayable in multiplayer because of severe lag due to terrible netcode

I got this game because I was hoping for a somewhat realistic SWAT game where you could take on real world scenarios like hostage takings, active shooters, robberies and so on. This isn't that. Every mission is you and your 4 team mates going up against 5-10 Navy SEALs with full auto rifles and a death wish. The suspect AI utterly ruins the immersion and is, to me at least, not fun. Besides you going into every mission laughably outnumbered, the AI have inhuman reflexes, perfect aim and can often tell where you are through walls. They will open fire immediately, with seemingly no desire for self-preservation, making it very frustrating to try and arrest the suspects instead of killing them on sight. Suspects don't care about flash bangs unless they land between their feet, while tear gas is too effective to ever not take, making the meta strategy just spamming every building full of CS like you're the ATF at Waco. There are mods that tune down the AI behavior, but they also make the game a lot easier, which is not ideal. The campaign has a gimmick where your AI team mates will get a mental breakdown if they kill too many enemies and you literally have to send them to therapy and hope you find a replacement. I cannot fathom why anyone thought that would be a fun addition. The game is also poorly optimized, stuttering even on very powerful hardware. At this point, I cannot recommend the game until at least the suspect AI is improved. Even then, I wish there were more varied and more grounded mission scenarios.
