I know most people don't read long reviews, so I'll just say that this game is FANTASTIC! Super excited for Incursion mode, keep up the great work Nexxtic & Co.!

Weapons doing more damage based on rarity and armor blocking more damage based on the rarity of weapon shooting you is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid :/ I get that it's supposed to be a "hArDcOrE" style game, but maybe games like Tarkov and The Cycle requiring manual wipes every so often just so the game can actually be fun and appealing for new players is indicative of poor game design ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My advice, play a game without these stupid ass mechanics, like Hunt: Showdown.

I am highly excited for the future of ULTRAKILL. While this product is most definitely not finished, what is here is all excellent. Mechanically it is extremely satisfying and polished, and I absolutely love the visual style. Level design and game structure is excellent too. Definitely pick this up while it's low in price.

Editing this review after another 50 hours, this game is absolutely phenomenal. It makes you feel so good for being good at the game. You feel like a god after you get the hang of it and develop your skills. My favorite thing to do is go for Cyber Grind highscores!

Played this game for years and it's the only PvP shooter I consistently come back to. Highly refined infantry gameplay with excellent gunplay. Flight and vehicles are also a very large part of the game's experience. As a new player you will get your ass handed to you as there is no SBMM in this game, everyone is on the same server. However, once you get the hang of your playstyle (which there are many to choose from) you will start to feel effective in the massive battles that are commonplace in this game. Also, it's free and has a completely reasonable way to acquire everything in the game (except implants, those are still awful).

Very fun and challenging! Reminds me a bit of Ballance, which I loved as a kid. This game would benefit greatly from a level editor!

It's Warframe - You really can't go wrong. A completely free (EVERYTHING is available by playing the game, even some cosmetics), constantly updated PvE masterpiece with 4-person multiplayer, loads of highly varied playstyles, intriguing and well-crafted lore, beautiful landscapes, and so much more to come.
This game was DE's last ditch effort to stay in business. I think it's safe to say they made a good'n.

Call me casual, but I don't want to spend 10 minutes repairing a ship that I accidentally tapped a pebble with at 0.1 MPH. Yes this game has mod support and those can fix that, but if you're looking for a better game that doesn't require sifting through thousands of mods to fix bad game mechanics that should be fixed in the base game, thousands of bugs, and ripping your ♥♥♥♥ off when you make the slightest mistake, get Empyrion. It's like a better version of this game.

It's like Space Engineers, but actually good.

Yes, I agree that it's unprofessional of them to not patch the game, but does that make this a bad game? No, it doesn't.

ANYWAY, REAL REVIEW:
I can see why all of my friends talk so highly of this game. It's amazing. Open world, lots of variety in playstyles, the ability to basically do anything you want to anyone, and of course, the feeling of power when you kill something with the Fat Man.
This game is amazing. Get it, if you're competent enough to install a simple fix.
