This is a fun game to kill some hours with.
It scratches that "number go up" itch in a really fun way.

I have some recommendations as well:
1) Make it more intuitive to automate.
2) Give people more venues for automation.
3) Make a better tutorial. What is the point of soft/hard on machines? Can you deliver dirty, wet, inkstained money to a person who doesn't specify that they don't care about those characteristics.
4) Make a button for auto binding and ejecting full stacks - maybe just for the biggest sorter, though.
5) Make better containers. I found myself needing a very small container with room for less than one stack. And make more flat containers in various sizes.
6) More hotkeys (why can't I just select the scanner by pressing a button?) and maybe an action bar you can navigate with your mouse wheel.
7) General optimization, but the creators know that.

All in all, a great game. I recognize the critizisms of janky surfaces and dips in performance, but they, in no concievable way, made me want to give this game a thumbs down - their experience might have been worse though.

This game is incredibly easy and quick to finish. It succeeds in striking a peaceful atmosphere from the beginning. This clashes with the fact that the game has way too many, frankly underdeveloped, mechanics for its own good. Mining and woodcutting is a slog and feels arbitrary because, as it turns out, you need, relatively speaking, very little wood and iron to complete the game. You can also farm, which is tedious and kinda pointless in itself, gather and process trash, which is fine, but doesn't really reward the player, cook, fish, either by pole or speargun, or sail to the next island.

Your inventory is limited, which is normal for a game, but this game somehow found a way to make it weirdly annoying.

I got all achievements. Most will come during gameplay and completing quests, and none will challenge you. This took [however many hours my playtime is] (this number is accurate, even if you view this review ten years from now, as I am not gonna return). My guess is that I would be able to 100% this game in two hours max if I went for it again. Honestly, the reason my playtime is as "high" as it is, is because I expected MUCH more depth when every single mechanic has little to none. Thus I spent far too long doing things that were utterly, insanely pointless in retrospect.

If this game had developed its mechanics more thoroughly, this might have been an enjoyable experience. The graphics are a delight.

Don't confuse shallowness for relaxing gameplay - I enjoy relaxing, casual games. This wasn't it.

I haven't played a horror game that I didn't find incredibly pointless and boring. Until now. Not the longest game - I got all achievements in 16 hours - but definitely stays with you for a while. Absolutely the greatest game I have picked up in 2023.

This is a good game. I wish there was more progression apart from a few levels quickly gained and then ascension. It's fine, but I would love more content.

CS:GO Review
You join a game. You shoot a guy. You shoot another one, and then one. Suddenly you are in the main menu. Apparently you're supposed to shoot the other team.

Jokes aside, the game is not perfect. Even though a lot of people bash the trust factor-system, I think it was a net gain. I have never met a spinbotter, and cheaters are rare for me. Yesterday, one of my opponents got banned for cheating while we were playing. It was amazing.

This seems like a pretty fun game. You know what else would be pretty fun? Being able to play the game. I managed to get it started once, and even then it had severe input lag.

I searched the forums quickly, and it seems that this is a well-known problem that hasn't been fixed, even though I found posts about it from Feb. 2019. If you got it working, great - I'm sure it's a fun game.

BTW I generally don't want to give negative reviews unless my problem is known to the devs, because it could be a unique problem on my end, and a game's rating shouldn't suffer because of something the devs aren't responsible for, but this is not a unique problem.

Best game ever. The soundeffects are top-notch! You know in Mario how it sounds like a coin when you pick one up? Yeah, stupid right? This game goes the extra mile by making the viewer aware that they are playing a game. It is a perfect example of the verfremdung effect - very similar to a fourth wall break. And that's just the sound effects!

Know that thing in Mario where the visuals are appealing and match each other in everything from color to environment. So idiotic. If your game needs to be appealing to attract an audience, you might as well not make the game and throw away your integrity instead - much faster!
This is where Super Moustache really shines.

The title of this game illudes to Super Mario. I have hidden this fact because I know that not everyone will get this clever little easter egg. The irony of this specific easter eggs is that Super Mustache took what worked perfectly in Super Mario and made it SO - MUCH - BETTER!

But this game doesn't have online coop or a battle royale mode, and that might have been acceptable back in 2016, but this is 2018, and this is just sloppy work on part of the developer.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is a game from my childhood. I remember playing it, but I never completed it until now. So how does it hold up in 2018?

The game has its flaws. This is natural from a 2018 perspective, because as game designers learn more and more about level design, AI etc. they also try to stear away from pitfalls of the past. The question is: is this game worth playing, because after all, we are in 2018, so unless you go by nostalgia, you need to know whether it holds up today.

It does. As mentioned earlier, the game suffers from some flaws:

- Level design: I recently played The New Order (TNO), and I didn't at any point feel like something wasn't supposed to be there. A dead end felt natural, and this is one of the points where it differs from Return, because, several times, the level design felt kinda weird and unnatural. My theory is that Return has focused more on making the levels authentic, while TNO seems to be focused more heavily on streamlining your experience.
This is obviously a smaller complaint.

- AI: This is hard for me to explain. The AI felt very robotic. I have only played on hardest difficulty, but sometimes it seemed that the developers interpretation of difficulty bordered on making the AI superhuman - I'll elaborate. Now, this might sound weird: "You played on max diff, and then you complain that it was hard?". No, I complain that a lot of my deaths felt cheap. It seemed like the AI knew where I was from the moment they saw me, to the moment I killed them. That meant that peeking was borderline impossible without taking damage. Sometimes the enemy didn't even see me - I managed to walk onto a car from the backside and then immediatly get blown to pieces by a rocket launching aspiring psychic.

- Carryover: What you get to keep, is what you leave the last level with - including hp. This, in my opinion, did not work well, as health was scattered far apart at times, thus making my particular playthrough spike unnescessarily in difficulty at times.

- THIS POINT IS A SPOILER, SO I PUT IT ALL THE WAY AT THE END

Conclusion:
Though I have only mentioned the flaws, this is a very competent shooter, I got a Goldeneye feel, but instead of the clunky N64 controller, you get to play with mouse and keyboard! I had a good time playing this game - and not just because of nostalgia, because tbh I didn't play this religiously when it came out. It's genuinly a good shooter with some, at times very apparent, flaws.
The story is also good, and there's humour on occasion.
Keeping all of the above in mind, I can, in good conscience, recommend this for others to play.
6/10
