This game might be of the best games i have played in the modern era. My favourite genre of games are JRPGS and the earlier final fantasy entries (specifically 6-10) really shaped my passion and enjoyment of gaming. It showed me games can equal movies and other media at story telling. Expedition 33 has the same magic from those early final fantasy games. The music, game play, story, visuals, the game delivers on every aspect, i cant really think of many negative things i can say about the game.

The amazing thing about this game isn't just how good the game is, its the story of how it was made! a former Ubisoft employee who was working on mobile gatcha games who had enough of it and had dreams of making a game that inspired him, hiring staff who haven't even worked on games before or with little experience. ITS CRAZY HOW THIS GAME EXISTS, TO THE LEVEL OF QUALITY IT IS, it really does feel like a game made by a big studio.

I cant give enough praise to this game, its one of the most fun experiences i have had in gaming in a while, and its rekindled the magic gaming had for me growing up! this is a definitely in my top 3 favourite games of all time!

Also on a side note THE MUSIC IS SOME OF THE BEST MUSIC I HAVE HEARD IN GAMING IN A LONG TIME.

This games open world feels SO alive, the cities feel lived in and the surrounding forest areas ARE SO IMMERSIVE ITS UNREAL, it feels like I'm walking through a real life forest. The combat is something i've heard people complain about, some things i feel are missing is the weight of attacks andhow enemies react to getting hit. The combat system itself i really like, when you start mastering the master strike technique the combat becomes a lot more fun instead of spamming perfect parry. I love the little details the game has such as NPC's commenting when you smell like crap, theres many little things like this that improve the immersion. I have only spent 18 hours on this game so far and hardly progressed the story but i just enjoy living in this world and just walking around, it reminds of the feeling i had when i played the 3D GTA games for the first time. This game might be of the most immersive games ive played for a while! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Early Access Review
I have only put 2 hours into this game but I can already tell this game is right up my alley!

It’s basically an ARPG version of Battlerite where builds don’t play a big part of the game like PoE or Diablo, instead there’s a focus on using your skills correctly, managing cooldowns and movement with the WASD.

This makes the game very action packed and engaging!

The game is definitely worth picking up due to the amount of polish for an early access game, in combination with the gameplay!

Highly recommended.
