This game is underrated. The story, engine, and gameplay are all top notch. The futuristic cyberpunk themes blend well with the art style and mechanics. The overall game itself is focused on the story progression, so it's not a sandbox experience. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys exploring the themes of what it means to be human, and how corporations may influence humanity's journey into space.

This is a very chill game, good for relaxing. It is entirely a card game - everything about it is something you could physically imagine and has real-world analogues. Even though some of the mechanics seem a little complicated at first, it's very easy to just pick up and learn in an hour or so. A game probably takes 15-20 minutes once you understand the interface. Music is awesome, and the voice-overs about the birds you play have tons of interesting and obscure facts for bird-lovers.

Lumberpunk! The very word to describe this game is itself exciting, full of possibilities and rich lore that has yet to emerge. This is still a pretty early point of the game, but it's still quite fun with the way they've handled hydraulics - flooding the plains is a very real concern. Or perhaps goal. The only real threat is the occasional droughts, or perhaps your population dying of old age, which makes this more of a casual and laid-back city simulation. The ability to stack buildings on top of each other is also fun, though.

I had a lot of fun with it. I think we're too used to anvil-icious type games that say your choices matter and rub your nose in the very, very few choices you have. Here? TONS of decisions matter and will entirely upend your entire approach to missions. There's huge amounts of voice acting, lots of good design on the plot, and I've only run across a smattering of bugs. They're still bad, and two of them made me reload a save from a few minutes prior (stuck in a wall after looking through a camera in one, and friendly NPCs not pathing properly in the second). But nothing game breaking? Still think it's very well worth it. 60 hours of gameplay, if you semi-rush the main story. A whole city's worth of content.

NOT a Tomb Raider game. Two hours in - exploration? Almost none. Stretches of one-way path? Lots. Quick-time events or instant death? IN SPADES.

Far Cry was a better 'you're stranded on a deserted island with people who want to kill you'. Nathan Drake was better about exploration. This is just... sad. Go watch the movie or something. Your time will be better spent.

Fantastic environment? Check. Great worldbuilding? Check. Non-linear solutions to puzzles? Check.

If you liked mystery solving games such as Myst or Riven, you'll love this.

This game is a fantastic game of colonization and building up planets. Well balanced and fun to play, with beautiful graphics, they have kept the controls consistent and made the game highly accessible even for people new to this genre. I've already have several fun moments of discovery and accomplishment, just a few hours in. Very fun!

The tutorial is a little confusing at some points, simply because they don't hold your hand and tell you which things exactly you need to do to accomplish your goals, just informing you that there's multiple ways to get to them and then letting you choose which path to take. If you skip over the text, you may not even know what those paths are - definitely read what people are saying. It's a minor point that can be easily worked around by exploring the interface, so don't worry and keep at it.

This is a really good game. There's a balance between accessibility and realism in these types of games that this one has managed to achieve, making it a good starting point for more casual builders.

It's an MMO. It's non-subscription. It's reasonably fun. The lore is pretty well thought out, and it's stayed... fairly consistent with the second game. As much as something with super weird sci-fi fantasy powers can be. End-game is a real grind - up to you if you want to bother.

I got this game quite some time ago. It's still an excellent game in its genre - I've seen a few modern attempts that have really fallen flat. Sure, it's based on 2D sprites, but the artwork is well done - has a bit of the 'cute JRPG' vibe to it.

But the plot is coherent, the game mechanics are spot-on, and the characters are wonderful (even if the protagonist is a little bit of an airhead). It's well-balanced between shop management vs. going out and murdering hapless monsters for the loot on your shop's shelves.

Overall, solid game. Would definitely recommend.
