Early Access Review
Game had a rough development cycle, but with the launch of Echoes it's now very good; for action RPG fans this game is a steal at $25, kudos to the devs for sticking it out rather than pulling the plug when things went south.

Pros:
-Combat is fluid and responsive; weapons feel distinct and have their own mechanics

-Each Wayfinder (character) has several layers of build customization with real gameplay implications

-Very fun co-op experience

-Wide variety of great looking cosmetic customization available in-game (no micro-transactions)

-Cool setting and art style

Cons:
-Story is lackluster, I typically end up skipping through the dialogue

-Uninteresting side-quest design in the open field (not a huge deal, primarily a dungeon crawler)

-Character power / upgrade systems are not initially explained very coherently

-Takes a bit for the game to pick up, slow-starter

Very much worth picking up full price; absolute no-brainer on sale. Even now the developer continues to introduce refinements and updates to the game (Version 0.6). Probably Airship Syndicate's best showing despite the early controversy and publisher incident.

It's like an Unreal asset store student project that went too far. The story is perhaps the worst of all time. The new characters suck. Demolition shot animations take way too long. Boss balance is non-existent.

Also really fun and has a banger soundtrack, best worst game I've ever played.
