Autonauts is a great Progression/Automation game!
It’s still a little early (134.25 as of this review) so there are a few quirks.
The controls took some time to master, as it's different from most games.
They are, however, excellently chosen FOR this game.

The progression possible is MASSIVE, and you can really invest a lot of time into this game, before “completing” it. I’m 36+ hours into my playthrough, and I’ve just started to scratch the surface of the 4th (out of 5) tech tiers. The majority of the fun, though, comes from actually automating your productions. I’m a programmer already, and love doing so.


The programming of the bots is intuitive, even to people who have never touched programming before. The fact that only loops exist, and not conditional if statements (If this, then that) limmits the programming “language” to simplicity. I think this is a great game design decision!

Love the atmosphere

Emersive! I've played for hours at a time
- only having to stop because my arms felt like they they
were about to fall off... Damn those difficult comunity levels. They're too fun.
