Satisfactory. Not the right name for this game. It's beyond that. It's Excellence. Perfection.
Let's start with the bad. It's buggy. Go figure, right? Bugs? In an early access game? NEVER! I haven't encountered any game-breaking bugs though, everything is quite managable (something not quite right with that spelling, but I'm too lazy to look it up right now). Don't mind the time displayed, I've been playing this on another platform, a few hundred hours into it.
The ugly... Yeah, you're probably figuring I would say something like "BOOOO! Cofeestain are promising stuff and not delivering!!! BOOOOO!"... Nah. Not going to do that. Although I am a LITTLE bit sour about the dedicated server thing. But to be fair - It's working fine as is. They put a lot of fresh content into the game, so I have been playing multiplayer with a friend, who just lets the game run minimized to tray so I can piddle around while he's AFK. We're in different timezones, so this works out fine. So there's that. Nothing much bad to say about the game. Except the fact that if you have even a slight hint of OCD - this will cultivate it in you. It will grow. The moster shall be out of the box.
Now on the to the good.
As you may have guessed already I am a bit of a fanboy. You may have also gotten a hint that I own two copies of this game. On two different platforms. That would be a correct assumption. I did pay for this twice. I would probably do it again also. The price is quite pleasant. Even if the development stops TODAY - it's worth every penny that I paid for it, and then some. The sights are absolutely astonishing, the vibrant colors will be the first thing you notice. If you are anxious about heights - that will be the next thing. The cliffs can be rather tall and breathtaking.
If you're serious about perfection and micromanagement - may as well get out your calculator and a notepad out right now. You're going to need it. The game requires a bit of thinking and planning. Luckily if your planning and thinking are crap - you can tear everything down without loss of resources (except your time, but that's a subjective opinion on resource value).
Start building, check recipes, tear things down, rebuild.
Oh, be sure to go through the tutorial and listen to everything ADA tells you. Some of things she says are just straight up hilarious.
5/5 highly recommended IF YOU LIKE THIS STYLE OF GAMEPLAY.
Do not expect a deep story (yet). Do not expect deep PvP or PvE (unless your idea of PvE is "gathering up every single resource in game and use it for your own nefarious purposes").

The Real Story.
I've been playing this game on and off for several years. Recently been on a break for a while, but initially bought this when there was naught but asteroid fields to play in. Played it through the development of gravity and planets and star system.
This is quite possibly the pinnacle of "grid-style sandbox" genre (if there is such a thing).
If you're into this kind of gaming - you will find nearly endless replay value. There is plenty to figure out in the single-player scenario gaming mode, and there are PLENTY of interesting multiplayer servers.
Throughout the development of the game the devs were quite responsive to the player base and the modding community. Speaking of which - the modding community is ENORMOUS and there's plenty for everyone.
If you're on the verge of buying this and you like this style of gameplay - you won't regret, especially if you have friends who play.
If you're not into sandbox and just want to blow stuff up and watch the world burn - this may or may not be the right choice.

Okay, this is truly an amazing concept. The story is pretty neat, but you realize that pretty deep into the game. Gets a little annoying at times, having to do the same thing over and over again, but that's when you need to adjust your approach. Has somewhat of a strategy element to it. Really an awesome title. 100% recommended. Love it.
