This game, it has gone through many changes, and I only joined at the beginning of 2016, but it was worth it. Once you start playing you feel like you aren't in any game you ever played before. There are nine classes to choose from, each of them with completely different game plans. You can't play one class and say your bored, because there are still eight more to choose. It doesn't end there either, as you can also use different weapons, but there not just like the AK-47 or something like that, these weapons are so crazy like in a cartoon. A cartoon and a shooter combined is what this is.

:2016: - I nominated this game with the test of time, as it has not been any less fun since i first played. I hope to continue for a while, with no plan of stopping.

:2017: - I nominated this game for the “Labor of Love” award, as the devs have been developing this game for over ten years and are still going.

:2018: - I nominated this game for the "Labor of Love" award. This game has been such a big part of my life in the last three years, it is still one of the most fun games I have ever played. But, the game wouldn't still be as popular or fun if the developers didn't update the game over time, but they do, and will continue too.

:2019: - I nominated this game for the "Labor of Love" award. Valve has pretty much put all they could into this interestingly beautiful first person shooter, filled with lovable characters that each have their own personality that has been developed more over the years. I'm not sure if the game will ever gain another content update to again fill the world of Team Fortress with new weapons, environments, and funny quips involved with the goofy story. I don't think the game needs the developers any longer though, as the game can either continue on the path of a loving community with fan content, or just drift into the back of everyone's steam library to forever be remembered as "that one game they loved years ago".

:2020: - I nominated this game for the "Labor of Love" award. What am I supposed to even say anymore? The game had been continuously developed and updated for so long that almost twelves years had passed when updates were constantly coming out. Even though the game has not had any recent major updates and it feels like it may be coming to a permanent close, I do think that the game deserves to at least be awarded for this award for all the effort the developers have put in over the past twelve years. TF2 has been the single most impactful game of my life, and the fact that it hasn't won the award for the "Labor of Love" is disrespectful to the developers that have tried their absolute hardest to keep this machine of a community alive. I truly do love this game, and even though I have played it less and will continue to do so over the years, I will still continue to be apart of the community that continues to create and enjoy this masterpiece for years to come.

:2023: - This game will be my vote for "Labor of Love" for as long as they make it an option. I don't exactly have much else to say so I'll summarize recent highlights. The update with Saxton Hale was cool.

:2024: - More and more years pass, and I am obligated to nominate this game for the "Labor of Love", even if it doesn't feel like it truly deserves it much anymore. It is still the most impactful game I ever played, and so I will keep voting for it in the hopes the devs can see the appreciation we as the community had for when they were active.
