Great game. Addresses a lot of outstanding issues with most 4X games. Particularly with regards to combat - no longer will you need to micro manage 100 different units each turn, you move you armies and then micromanage on the battlefield. Hard to overstate how much of an improvement this is as it speeds turns up massively. A game can easily be started an finished in a day on the largest map size with many players.

Although not perfect, this is highly polished and perfectly placed to be improved and added to if properly supported.

Solid gunplay and nowhere near as buggy and janky as some reviews would have you believe. Not to say there aren't some 'interesting' game design choices and sometimes it can be difficult to know where to go next. Overall though I have to recommend this for the sheer beauty and scale this game has. Couple that with some good high octane combat and an interesting story (so far) and I would say that this is a must play for any 40k fan and a top recommend if even if you're not. Just.. maybe wait for the bugs to be fixed in a patch if you don't think you could put up with some minor ones.
