Words cannot describe how amazing this game is. 10/10.

The single player game is just beautiful. The story and characters are captivating. Online is a very different experience, but just as wonderful. If you like riding into the sunset, collecting items, hunting all sorts of animals, lassoing friends and shooting fools you'll love this game.

Bloody great game. Once you learn the mechanics, the game turns from challenging to satisfying as you run through the levels. Each stage has new challenges and it really keeps the gameplay interesting. If I have anything bad to say it's that the game is fairly short, but I still very much enjoyed it.

Okay, so I got a little way into the game with almost no issues. Very little stuttering besides a tiny bit in the cutscenes. I have a 1070Ti and an i7-7700K, so my PC was handling things fine (Though it seems like I'm on of the lucky ones, as others with far better hardware are having major issues). I managed to play through the first little segment of the game, all the way to the hunting/stealth rescue segment. As the cutscene at the end up this segment hit, I finally got a crash. The game just seems unstable at the moment, and the port to PC was just too rushed. I will be more that happy to update this after the issues have been fixed, but I don't feel like playing the segments over and over waiting for every crash.

So I've given this a positive rating because I think the devs have put in a lot of work to make it enjoyable. But in general, the pool of things to actually branch out and do is limited. If you're a decent player who picks up games at a reasonable rate, the game burns out quite quickly, and it's not too hard to get end game gear. But there are also many positives. The game is very fun to play with friends, listening to people getting jump scared, going group looting and murdering zombies together is pretty fun. The building mechanics are actually really nice and I've had no issues building the things I wanted with very few limitations. All in all, enjoyable and worth a try, but you might run out of content fairly soon after starting.

Really great game with an active community and an awesome dev team. Lots of fun to play with friends, and you have endless ways to play and customise.

EDIT:
I still think this game is really great, and that the dev team cares a lot about what they are doing. But in terms of what there is to do at the end game level, your options start to drop off. The game seems to be geared towards beginners more than people who have been playing the game for an extended period of time. Though in recent months, the dev team has been showing signs that they are hearing what the community is saying, and making updates based on the more experienced community. Even with any issues I might have, I would still HIGHLY recommend this game, and I think the community is awesome.

EDIT:
5 years down the track, and I now barely play anymore. The community is just exceptionally toxic, and now with free to play, the hacker situation has just gotten worse. I still think it's a very fun game, and it's nice coming back to it occasionally for short bursts at a time. But I feel like it's not something I can play very much anymore.
