Directions on how to set steam up to install on multiple drives:

Click Steam > Settings
Under "Beta Participation" click "Change" then change it from "None" to "Steam Beta Update".
Let Steam update.

Then go to settings again and go to the "Download+Cloud" tab. At the bottom click "Library folders" and add any folders (on any drive) you would also like to install games to.

Then when installing games that support it you will get the option on which folder to install to. Note that only games converted to the new content system can be installed to alternate folders. More and more games are switching to the new system and eventually all games will.
