Destiny 2 The Final Shape, personally to me this is one of the best if not the best and most important DLC's in the games 10 year span. The campaign was great, not too long even though I played it over a couple of days on legendary difficulty to ensure I had adequate gear for levelling up for the raid and extra content post campaign. (I am yet to do the raid as of yet with scheduling issues right now so can not comment on it other than what others have told me which has been overwhelming praise from multiple reliable sources).

The Final Shape takes us to a new location known as the Pale Heart rooted inside of the Traveller where we face the Witness and its forces within. Whilst inside we meet up with Crow after he used his wish granted by the last Ahamkara to gain access to the Pale Heart. We make it inside and whilst here see a plethora of familiar places from the guardians past as we rally with our Vanguard leaders to move towards our final battle. Once again we are joined alongside Zavala, Ikora, Crow and Cayde-6 of whom it is great to have back in our story. Seeing Cayde in the original teaser trailer for the final shape I was worried to say the least, I didn't want such a loved and memorable character to be cheaply used as a ploy to pull old players back into the game and luckily this is the furthest thing from the truth. Cayde plays his part in the campaign and doesn't feel over used and whilst still having his charisma is written in a way that he understands the severity of the situation we are in. Also as a note he is once again voiced by Nathan Fillion unlike in Forsaken which is another added bonus to him returning.

After finishing the campaign and now finishing the 12 player activity that has been released as a result of the worlds first raid completion I can say without a doubt that for returning players and fans of the Destiny franchise its an emotive and excellent experience with an ending that feels bitter sweet but it definitely the ending we needed to round off this light and dark saga.

Earlier on today Bungie also released a new video regarding the future of Destiny now that the DLC has released and honestly its really exciting, Destiny is finally being shaped into the game we want it to be and if done right (which after playing Final Shape I have a lot of hope for) it will reach its full potential and beyond.

I'd highly reccomend the Final Shape to all players, unlike Lightfall is doesn't feel rushed and like a gimic just to give us a subclass, its well thought out and enjoyable and feels like passion went into it. You may see a lot of negative reviews or the mixed review tag on the product a lot of which are from release whilst the server were unstable do not let them deter you, experience this as early as you can.

Gotta say this is aimed at established Destiny fans so if you're new to the game or only play it occasionally then this probably isn't for you. I used to sweat this game out so badly when it was on Battle.net, the migration over to steam was a game changer for me with QOL of steam being a whole lot better than Bnet. I still sweat Destiny out just take more frequent breaks now as a result of content droughts that come and go.

Moving on to the actual topic being Lightfall, gotta say I did enjoy it but the campaign was really short, I was shocked. For a annual DLC release that is meant to resemble that of Forsaken, Shadow keep, Beyond Light and Witch Queen this is far from any of those three. It's similar to Curse of Osiris and Warmind in length and content for the time being. I don't know what's to come in terms of the next few months leading up to the next season and the raid has yet to release. But as it stands right now it is kind of lacklustre which is sad to say because I love this game and the franchise so far, I'm just disappointed as to the lack of content we have received at launch especially after a delay in release too as we used to get the yearly DLC's in September/October if I remember correctly.

Strand is cool it give them that it's really cool and offers a lot of potential with the abilities similar to Stasis on it's release having a new darkness subclass is cool as ♥♥♥♥ I just hope things like the grapple will be used in the raid for puzzles and such.

Neomuna looks cool as a location a nice city scape of sorts and a change of scenery from what we had in the past, there's got to be secrets yet to be uncovered. One thing I do have a problem with is another expansion with no new enemy types, granted we had the torturer but I want a new race of enemy I'm tired of seeing base game enemies. A full new race with a new design and abilities would be a massive breath of fresh air even the taken was a rehash of the first games base enemies. A new from the ground up race would be amazing in the next DLC.

The Striders I thought didn't really hold much weight to me, cool concept of new characters but they felt more two dimensional than Xur.

Overall the DLC is cool in ways and also lacklustre in others for new players I'd probably avoid, returning players you sorta gotta make your own opinion because I've heard mixed opinions from people and Steam has Mostly Negative reviews from a lot of new and die hard fans. I'm just stating my gripes with the DLC but there is also some cool features.

This game is honestly so fun, a small yet powerful game in which you are able to have a barrel of laugh on or absolutely sweat it out as if your life depends on it. Get a couple of friends together on this or join one of the few community servers and you will have a blast.

Jumping around as a little toy soldier and shooting at other toy soldiers in maps that make it believable and actually convey a sense of what it would be like to be the size of a toy solider as these maps are outlandish but in the best ways. From fighting on top of a kitchen counter top to fighting each other on a picnic table with half eaten food with ants crawling around myself and my team as we hunt our enemies puts a smile on my face each time I load the game up.

Definitely recommend.

I was so hyped for this game coming up to release. Was a huge fan of the first game played it on Xbox, Playstation then when I eventually got a PC bought it on here too and played through the following for the first time and loved it. On launch day I booted up and played the first couple hours of the game I enjoyed it but a couple of days went by and I stopped playing out of boredom.

I didn't play for so long and this isn't a result of me finding the game boring I just lost interest due to more exciting things in life and other games with new events at the time. Flash forward to now and I have been playing this game for hours on end feeling like its been a mere twenty or thirty minutes its so fun and addicting.

I really enjoy the story, I think there are certain parts that could be improved upon but won't comment on too much to not spoil anything. I don't find Aiden too interesting of a character but the progression system and skills you unlock are great and a big improvement from the first game. The world feels huge and feels lively depsite being overrun with zombie but it feels like a somewhat functional place with a good amount of life to it. If you enjoyed the first game or like open world zombie games I think this game is for you and the parkour system does leave a little to be desired at times but wall running and jumping around a huge open world full of zombies is as fun as it sound.

I played alot of D2 on Battle.net and I mean alot and loved it so much with each DLC this game gets so much better the only downside is the content droughts between DLC's can be long and makes playing a bit of a chore. That being said its worth playing its free so you're not loosing anything by playing and I would recommend picking up the DLC's when they release as for the battle pass thats entirely up to you. The game looks and feels great to play with alot to do before endgame, getting to endgame you will need a team but if you have one or dont mind looking for one you'll have a great time.

This game is so fun and qwerky I love how I'm able to advance towards enemies by shooting a high power shotgun or a mini gun and the bullet drop in this game is easy to calculate. The only bad thing I can say about this game is that it doesnt run too well on most system my personal rig consists of an I7 7700, Gtx 970 and 16gb of 2600Mhz ram and I get like 20-35 fps when I'm dropping, in engagements and just running around looting I cant even turn down the graphics as there is only custimisation for shadows and vsync doesnt help either but overall great game just needs a tad more optimisation.
