AMD Drivers have finally been fixed! Game is completely stable now.

Unfortunately this game is barely playable on AMD GPUs (I'm on a 7900XT). I can consistently replicate crashes due to Driver Timeouts at the same parts of operations/campaign missions. There's plenty of threads on steam/reddit about the same issue. I've even tried the experimental driver versions put out by AMD that claim to have fixed the timeouts in this game, but have seen no improvement.

I'll change my review to positive when it's fixed so that the crashes stop, because beneath the crashes this is an amazing game, but right now I can't tell anyone with an AMD GPU to buy this game.

GOTY 2023 for me.

In the end, 343 has gotten this game to a decent state.

Haven't had this much fun with a new game in years. Now that the server issues are basically gone, and you can consistently get into the game, this is an easy game to recommend.

So much unnecessary grind. You have 10 billion in the bank? Doesn’t matter, you can’t buy iron to engineer your ship and instead have to go mine it personally with your car on an empty moon. New items added? Sorry, not available for credits. Please go mine personally on an empty moon. Rinse, repeat with every new thing - bonus points if it’s bugged for months after release and never gets balanced or fixed.

Economy is a joke and they want to make it worse

Literally the best game I've played in years.

Casual, light, easy to get into. This game definitely satisfies the space strategy itch without devolving into the hours-long campaigns of most other space strategies, such as Stellaris, etc. No combat means that its very easy to take your time and make the most out of any decisions that you make. 100% recommend.

I wasn't sure it was possible for another game to match up to Ace Combat, but Project Wingman has done it. Stunning graphics, beautiful music, engaging gameplay. Highly recommended.

Good casual experience, and while I haven't gone beyond that to the more sim-like aspects of the game, I can easily see a path forward on how to graduate from using all the assists to using none of them.
