More content and a better story that most AAA games that are 5 times the price.

And its more Witcher 3, do i need to say more?

Best game ever made.
I spent over £250 on the collectors edition plus a steam edition and still wish i could give CDPR more money.

If you enjoy RPG or open world games then you will enjoy this.
The game treats you like an adult, the story's voice acting and writing all done to make this a mature game that makes the world believable, you can lose yourself in its gorgeous vistas, amazing facial animation, and brilliant voice acting, or you'll simply lose yourself in the varied and superbly made stories. Every side quest is its own well made short story, the things i've discovered feel like real things happening to real people.
The main quest can take as long as you like, I hit 110 hours after finishing the main questline and still had 25-30 contracts, treasure hunts and side quests still to do, let alone finding points of interest that have rich backstories in the notes you pick up.
16 free DLC's, and an amazing first expansion simply better the experience all the more, i can't wait for Blood and Wine

BUY. THIS. GAME.

Finished in 2 1/2 hours, and i took my time with many parts. Other people are reporting the same general playtime aswell.

The game is held up purely by the excellent voice acting, the gameplay itself is kinda meh.

Fps is a bit hit and miss, i have a 970 and was dropping below 50 in some areas.

The ending is a let down, lots of build up and great dialogue and it just falls flat.

I'd wait for a sale in my personal opinion, the fact that the game time falls just outside the steam refund time is a little bit fishy.

6 hours in, been hunting and gathering for about 4 of those 6, i feel like im making myself content as i play :P

few fps drops in the soviet area but nothing massive, down to about 55 every so often.

The gameplay, graphics, combat, and new crafting system are amazing. Absolutely loving it! :D

What to say, im in love with this game, i'm going to spend hundreds of hours of my life in it.
The gun play is awesome, the world looks amazing, i ahve to run away from pretty much everything atm as they are all more powerful than me, the customisation is really good.
Inventory is a bit hard to navigate aswell as the building menu.


Turning down shadow distance gave me an increase of 20fps.

Don't listen to the idiots who can't run the game on their old machines, im running the game on high at 130+ fps on a i5 3570k, 970, and 8 GB of ram.
Having no issues running the game.

Now on to the gameplay, if you liked blops2, you'll like this one.
The movement is really fun, and not as bad as AW.
The faster firing guns aren't always better, some of the slow firing guns are amazing.
The supply drops are cosmetic only.

Basically if you like blops2, didn't like Ghosts and AW then you'll like this one.

NOTE:
You might like this game, plenty of people do, this are my issues with it and the issues with the PC port that everyone seems to gloss over as they are fanboys.


Played through the tutorial, got so bored of cutscenes and crawling along the floor i went and made a sandwhich, was pretty decent actually, could have used more pickle.

Back to the game, the people saying this is a good PC port clearly have no idea what they are doing, the button prompts on screen are xbox controller console buttons, causing you to have to look up what the actual key on the keyboard is.
60 FPS cap, i didn't buy this 144hz monitor to play at 60fps konami.
You have to use the WASD keys to navigate the menu, we can't use our mouse pointer.....

Finally got to some gameplay, and the horse control's like it has a mental defect, plus the animations of it while running, just awful...

Took over the first base, and it did nothing for me. I got a refund and am enjoying Mad Max and The Elder Scrolls Online now.

Not really a review, just some things i wish i'd known before buying into the good reviews.

Made me question everything i had done in the game.

Firstly a quick story, having killed a captain, Uglog the something, I felt pretty badass, it wasn't until and hour later he reappeared in the middle of me attacking another uruk captain, shouting how he had come for revenge, the two captains then started fighting over who would get to kill me, its stuff like this that make shadow of mordor an amazingly well made game.

Now let me say i am a huge LOTR fan, i read the books as a child followed by the hobbit and similarion and then the films. Unfortunately my love of the story and world never transfered over into any of the vieo games for it, they all felt lacking in some way.
Until now, this game has everything i could ask for,
-The brilliant combat taking inspiration from the arkham games
-Awesome killmoves that never get old
-A dynamic nemisis system that is unique to each player.
-Gorgeous visuals.
-Movie quality voice acting (man crush on Troy Baker)
-And awesome PC performance, something i was worried.


Even if you're not a fan of LOTR, get this game becasue you will fall in love with the nemisis system and satisying combat.

9.5/10 So far GOTY for me

The game is still in a rough shape, its impossible to get away from that. However community run modded servers with things like expansion, traders etc, can really bring back the feel of dayz mod.

I can't stress how fun this game can be. You'll get experiences and adrenaline you can't get anywhere else.

However, i can't stress how infuriating it can be at the same time.
