2 years later and it's the game it should have always been, at launch the bones were there alongside a great cdpr story. Now the world is up to the same standard

The game runs like ass on everything but AMD GPUs and CPUs, anyone who disagrees with this I would point to the digital foundry review which explains it and shows the hard data.

Aside from that it's an average game, 20000 loading screens later and I feel this is a step back from fallout 4 and Skyrim, the face animations are laughable for a game from 2023, the planets are the same 4 types of scenery with the same 20 points of interest scattered just far enough away from each other to take too long to walk to them.

The space traversal is just a bubble outside each planet, the quests are kind of interesting but lackluster compared to other RPGs that have come out recently.

There are already 100,000's mod downloads on nexus to fix this game, the age old Bethesda excuse of modders can fix it shouldn't give them a free pass.

Buy this game in 2 years for £10 when modders will have made it a good game, because Bethesda sure as hell can't make one

Cannot play, everytime I load into a match the game crashes before the match starts. Tried every fix under the sun and nothing. Conclusion is that the game is a POS broken mess that IW and Activision should be ashamed of. But they won't as they don't know what that is.

DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. GAME.

Doesn't support ultrawide as promised, cutscenes are in 16:9, luckily flawless widescreen has released a fix already which massively improves the gameplay on ultrawide monitors.

Game itself is a ton of fun, more of dying light 1 but with enough tweaks to feel fresh, if you enjoyed that, you'll enjoy this

Fantastic performance, great 21:9 support, great story and gameplay, the complete package.

Only downside is no fov slider, but i understand why they couldn't add one, plus there is already a great mod for it if needed.

First Note: Superb Ultra wide support, one of the best I've seen, haven't found a 16:9 screen yet, everything is in 21:9, Menus, Hud, Gameplay, everything. Also FOV slider is always welcome, too many games don't have these.

Great performance, my rig is beefy (10700k, 3080) but at 3440 x 1440p max settings i've not dipped below 90 fps, lowest i've seen was 96.

Great control customisation. The bike is easy to control via KB+M which is a damn sight better than CB2077's vehicle controls.

Great Graphics Customisation.

Now onto the game, 2 hours in so far and really enjoying the mix of stealth and action the game has, only bad thing i can say is i wish the screen didn't fade to black when going to cutscenes, but thats my only complaint so far and as complaints go thats a very slight ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Happy to see more Playstation games coming to PC, you want to see more? Vote with you wallet and get a really good game that is a really good PC version

The promised 21:9 support is half assed.

All dialogue scenes which are in game scenes are in 16:9, all cutscenes that are rendered in game are 16:9, seeing as dialogue is about half of the game then the promised ultrawide support is false.

Pre-rendered cutscenes are fine to be in 16:9 but stuff that is in game can and should be rendered in ultrawide.

Early Access Review
Its Early Access, and better for it, DOS2 ended up so good because of early access, if you don't want the occasional crash, some fps drops or some janky animations then wait. If you're happy to try out a fantastic game with those issues whilst also sending feedback. Buy it. Tons of fun so far!

A short but incredibly sweet DLC, i really enjoyed the story and brought great emotional weight to the end of the main games story. Well worth the money, looking forward to starting sams story now!
