really cute and good game but i do have a question!

how am i supposed to read the die rolls?? maybe im a bit stupid here but im playing on casual and i roll a 2 and it will deal well...not 2 damage or something. i cant find a reddit page that has already answered questions for this game so im asking here and hoping the steam community could answer this one! haha x)
