There is no justification why I have to make another account from a service I have zero intention of using without even mentioning it's poor track record of it's handling of security.

In my opinion the only reason they delayed this is so they can poach their numbers to investors without consideration for the consumer. I feel really bad for the developers who have put blood sweat and tears into this game only for greedy corporate entities to smear it all in a matter of hours.

Edit: Looks like they listened after a population of a metropolitan city expressed their displeasure. Keeping up the original up.

Cmon, don't lie.

You screamed like a little girl internally when you saw this appear up on your store page.

Game's getting better, kinda reminds me of how warframe went in terms of development. They fell off the grid for a while and came back shining. Brilliant job from the development team. Now we just need that awesome commuinity back once more and we've got ourselves a winner.

What if Foxhole was an FPS? You'd get this game.

The game itself is enjoyable to the core but due to it being in what I can presume is in an early stage of development you will experience quite a lot of problems from not only the game itself but the players as well.

I play on the EU server and when I look on the leaderboard, I'm seeing a lot of sub 100 ping players, and these players are from the EU as well. It's as though the game servers cannot handle the load of players. A server performance upgrade would be nice.

Most of the supposed resources on the map don't even give resources and just break after a few hits, I'm not sure if that's a feature to stop players from building indestructable forts or making a ton of overpowered equipment or just a bug a very annoying one at that.

Hit registration and weapon accuracy: The hit reg in this game has got to be one of the worst out of all the games I've played in a long time. I can smack a guy with a full clips worth of a bolt action rifle at close range and he'll take about 53HP damage and then in the next breath he'll 1 tap me with the same weapon or a reskined variant of it.
The weapon accuracy especially on the automatic weapons makes me feel like I'm playing with full auto shotguns that fire one pellet a round.

The accracy on the sniper rifles make stormtroopers look like Navy Seals Marksmen. Were the crosshairs lined up by the galatic imperial navy? Seriously though I could have bagged myself an easy 8 kills if it wasn't for this, I was very suprised when I got killed by someone with an automatic about half a mile away. Which brings me onto cheaters.

Cheaters are too common in this game, probably due to the exsistance of no bloody anticheat.

But other than that it has the potential to be probably the best game of it's kind.

5/10 for now.

Aside from the abusive campers you can encounter online (you should know if you've played for more than a few hours)

It's an all out good game, good story, good graphics. No overpriced microtransactions *cough cough* I enjoy this game a lot.

Also Ubisoft please get rid of the serge rifle for online play, it's generally easy mode for roof campers.

Another one of those gems that have a fun single player mode but is let down by it's multiplayer.

Like most open world games, it is infested with hackers (no not the ones that make the local steam pipe go boom boom)
though having your wits and cunning in mind and having a cheap ass mindset with leave them crying with a loss and some self consideration on how they wasted a couple of minutes to install/inject a cheat which that time they could have spent on reading a guide on how to "git gud".

Yes the graphics and performance were a bit of a let down, it's not like you've heard that from the thousands of reviews already. I'm suprised people haven't learned not to judge a book by it's cover yet but ah well.

With the next title set to come out tommorow to date of this review, people are already saying that downgrades are happening and things are gonna be removed. Let us not jump to conclusions and just hope that Ubisoft aren't shooting themselves in the foot for both theirs' and our wallet's sakes.

Ignore all these folks saying that this game is dead. It's seen darker days yeah but the game's getting a steady stream of players back again. Not in the ammounts of a AAA game title but enough to fill a server every so often.

Pros:

Fast paced FPS/RTS hybrid: You'll always have something to do as a footsoldier and a commander no matter what.

Easy to adapt: You'll get used to the methods and strats fairly quickly so you'll know what to do within a few hours of playing.

No two game is the same: Buildings can be placed in a varible places that'll deter your team's victory/defeat.

Non repetitive: You won't be doing the same thing over and over even though your objective states otherwise, opposing players will be adapting to the situations you put them in which means you'll be doing the same.

Cons:

The better Gizmos are unlocked at higher levels which means you'll be at a disadvantage for the first few hours of gameplay but going supportive classes and rushing primary buildings as a sieger will fix that in no time.

The tutorial is broken btw, look up how to spawn items for it.

Stacking is common problem in most servers and it will tend to lead to defeat but by jingo it feels good when you kick them back in their place.

As for the cheater problem in all my hours of playing I've only seen one and they were gone within minutes.

TL:DR Amazing game, commuinity is slowly growing again, a few set backs when you first load in but with a few hours of patience you'll be kicking asses and taking resource points (well you better be PTFO or your commander will be shoving his/her foot up your rear end)

I'll be waiting for you in the front lines recruit.
