Good game, get it on a sale cause it's pretty short, around 40 hours of content totally
Just don't get the skins, the free in game ones are REALLY GOOD

The game is extremely fun but easy to get bored of. The best way to describe this game is Halo, but with portals or Halo + Portal. The portal mechanic is fun but in low level lobbies it's not extremely viable.I haven't played the ranked game mode yet, i'm sure it offers a skill level to balance this game out with the portals. Here's a few things you can do with portals : you can outsmart opponents & kill yourself. it offers a skill ceiling but not high enough for this game to stay afloat for an extremely long time like WoW or LoL. the lobbies are often filled with micless/mute players. the rest ones with mic are either toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who live in their mom's basement or kids who have their mics on because they have a Dual Sense controller that has a mic and once in a blue moon you can get a kind fellow, but beware, these are extremely hard to come by so don't keep hope. the guns are fun to use nothing special about them. the shotgun can 1 shot & so can the sniper. the smg & plasma rifle need balance. carbine & ARs are the most balanced, but maybe the carbine needs a 5 dmg buff to make it more viable. for being absolutely free to play i would recommend this game. Ihad to delete hthis game because i got bored of it, there's just nothing to keep me addicted or satisfied with it. Just have good aim + atleast 75 iq & the game is a piece of cake. just to validate myself as not a cranky game journalist my highest kill game is 33, K/D is 1.3 & i have won 50% of my matches (approx). there's just a lack of content which is obviously because it's in BETA so maybe I'll reinstall after the BETA is over & ,aybe then I'll enjoy it more with more content. The devs are also to be commended for this game since they've stuck with this game for 2 whole years with an extremely low player count & i have nothing but respect & gratitude for making such a fun, but flawed game which is exactly what some people needed at this time.

The game is still broken for higher and mid skilled players.
a game so broken that there are mods which are built by players to fix the game.
The gameplay loop is great.
but everything else isn't. The fps goes down for no reasons, and they patch out skips which aid in speedruns.
id, this is why many of your veteran doom eternal players left and only some dedicated few are remaining.
