Islands of nyne is truly a unique take on the battle royal genre. Combining faste paced movement, quick time to kill and some quirky mechanics like bunny hopping, islands of nyne is truly a dream come true for me and many others who grew up playing games like Halo, Doom, CS 1.6 etc.
Islands of nyne puts a little twist on the BR formula by introducing cometitive gunplay(that means you can predict how guns will perform and compensate). This truly feels like a a different game simply because of its mechanics.
It's not all sunshine and rainbows for Islands of nyne. The game has a slew of bugs and server related issues as well as optimisation issues. As of writing this review, a lot of the server related bugs have been fixed however, there still remains a great deal of optisation to complete. Don't get me wrong, this game looks great, just that it doesn't look as good as how poorly it performs.
It's always a good sign when developers listen to feedback and fix what should be fixed, and im happy to report that Islands of nyne game devs, Define Human studios is working their butts off to get this game stable and ready for launch, with a promoise that it should be ready in roughly a year for its v1.0 mark.
These are just my initial thoughts on the game's launch and i hope to write a more positive one on it's full release.

9/10 would reccommend for a more competitive crowd and 7/10 for a more casual audience.
