An Incredible Experience

After purchasing my Quest headset a few years back I was greatly disappointed in the content being pushed out by various developers with both diminishing player counts and quality. I stumbled across Pokerstars VR (Legacy) and thought, “How could poker possibly be fun on VR?” I was pleasantly surprised.

Vegas Infinite turned out to be an title where you could meet a likeminded eighteen plus mature community, make acquaintances, learn new casino games, experience vibrant worlds, enjoy props and manipulate your avatar with unique customizations all from the comfort of your home.

The game is one hundred percent free to enjoy. There are no paywalls for core game content, however there are in-game transactions for props, chips, credits, and certain “club” invite only tournaments.

Like any title that is growing and has active development, there will be bugs and glitches. I’ve never had it affect my game experience more than a slight annoyance. Vegas Infinite has a dedicated support team that has always appropriately answered my inquiries promptly.

If your bored of traditional shooters, HW, or just don’t feel like going to the casino, give this title a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

I really wish there was an unsure rating when recommendation of a game, because this title would fall perfectly in that category.

I understand that the game is an EA title, and I don't often feel the need to refund a game, but with some of the issues the game has it's simply unplayable.

This title brings something unique to the table that a lot of others in the same genre haven't, unique maps. The environments alone would be almost enough for me to wholeheartedly recommend the game if it weren't for the strange driving habits of the vehicles and bugs.

Here are a few of the problems/annoyances that I encountered
  • 0-100/150 is stupidly fast, puts NHRA to shame.
  • Want to tap the boost? Nope, be ready to use the whole charge at once.
  • Handbrake "Space" does almost nothing, you are better off using your down arrow to slow down and stop.
  • Invisible objects in the middle of the road that will launch you to the moon.
  • Settings are Low/High
  • A $10.99 USD Price Tag in a genre that typically sees games for less than $5 is a no-go at least with these bugs.

The game shows great potential, I hope to revisit it when the game is out of EA.

I guess you could say that I've played this a few times.
Lets be honest, we all bought the game for the Backgrounds, emoticons, level 5 badge, and to spell our names out on our Achievement Showcase.

Hopefully you've bought this on sale! If you haven't, or are just sifting through reviews, wait! Sometimes you can get this game for $.50 or 83/84% off!!!!!!

This game may be a dollar more than its main competitors, looking at you Music Racer and Retrowave! However, its well worth it. Great music, great aesthetic, it's a must have!

I've played this game a little bit I guess.

The maps, music, cars, vibes are incredible, its all very well done. This is one of the few games that does really deserve its, "Overwhelmingly Positive" review classification. Its base price is 1.99 USD, sales come often and can be as high as 50% off.

Now for the best part. For all of my steam profile peeps, this game has GREAT looking achievements that have the ability to be used in a showcase. You can also utilize this for your favorite game, game collector, etc. showcases!

Do I recommend this game? Uh, of course!!!

I'm posting this review on the 19th of December, 2021 . As the game is updated, ill try my best to make revisions to my review as I see needed. Before I start on the review, keep in mind that the game is ONE dollar .

Just a heads up, I purchased this game to showcase the achievements on my steam profile. At the current moment this game, "Is not currently eligible to appear in certain showcases on your steam profile." What does that mean? That means, for all the users with all the retro/neon/synth/whatever profiles you wont be able to use this game for several of your showcases.

Gameplay - Pros/Cons This game doesn't have any music. This game also doesn't have any settings/options. When you launch the game you have either play or exit. You are given one vehicle, there are no customization options. The game doesn't have any acceleration sounds. Regardless if you are going 60 or 180, the car sounds the same.

However, if you like the vibe, this is for you. Neon and palm trees are plentiful. The achievements are wicked, the game pfp/banner is amazing! Just hoping i'll be able to show it off soon enough!

I'm changing my review from Negative to Positive. With the absolute mess that Zealots of Akar was I didn't see how the two man development team could in anyway salvage this game but they somehow did it with the Eternal Banishment. Keep in mind at the time of the review the Eternal Banishment Major Update is in Beta, so yeah, spoiler alert.

With eight hours of game-play in the Beta, I haven't found anything game-breaking or just flat-out annoying like I did with Zealots of Akar. The addition of vibrant, color-rich environments really is refreshing after 1100 hours of looking at boring beige and brown. With the prior addition of the prestige system I was afraid that FOREWARNED would turn into a grind for gold/exp title, but it hasn't. The implementation of the additional set of tasks in order to "Banish" the Mejai easily adds ten minutes or more of unique and fun challenges for your team instead of the original fixed five minutes of grab and dash with little variety.

The environments still consists of the original internal and external settings, with the addition of the new vibrant environments which include new traps, creatures, etc. A big pro for me with the new maps is the size. The rooms, hallways are large, its not easy to predict where you'll be next.

If you returned this title, thought it was unpolished, hated it, thought it was a phasmo clone, or just got bored of it, give it another shot. I'm sure you'll be impressed with what FOREWARNED has to offer.
