Once upon a time, a gamer stumbled upon a community server called Zeddy Zombie Escape , the player was a CSO player back in the days and wish to see anything related to zombie modes on CSGO after the closure of said game. This is the first time the player tasted the fun of ZE, but the start was extremely rough, all kind of things happened, not long after the player quit playing csgo along with ZE.


Years after, the player long for the days of the server, the game, and the unique taste of the game mode, models and the maps, the player tried other server that offered the same mode, but it never tasted the same, the player couldn't feel the uniqueness of the server such as the raging,tilted,calm and lively commanders , the maps and the mappers, the playerbase and those skins behind the "Great PayWall" or when a commander from Taiwan tricked the player into taking that fake item and fell to death ,everything the server and the community has to offer.

The player searched and kept on searching for the server as it almost has no advertisement while forgotten the name. On that day, the player saw a server named Zeddy's Zombie Escape with 0 player in it and the map of Voodoo Island, the player was wondering and joined the server, tried several commands to check and it is indeed the server the player once landed years ago, the player was in joy and felt empty at the same time as the server does not have anyone, minutes later, a player with a wolf skin joined the server and the first thing he asked was "are you gay?" , the player laughed and said "no" , the player does not recognise him at all as the player has never seen such name and the skin before. The player and him played for some time and the player got bullied in 1v1 ze obviously even after changing the map. After that, the player asked him a question and felt even more empty afterwards, he left the server leaving the player alone.

The player continue to tinker with the commands and saw the leaderboard & was stunned for a few seconds, but... something was missing, the player clearly remembered the name started with "De" couldn't be found on the leaderboard, the player waited on the server alone, a few people come and goes. Eventually the player left too after seeing someone said they're more active on night time.




The player played on the server silently just like years ago and got addicted to it, the player joined in the morning everyday and stayed as long as possible, but the longer the player stays, the more the player felt the cracks within the server and the prime-time of the server has long gone. The player also realized the "De" 's new name

The paywall to the skins that is no longer "Great" pushed the player's motivation to continue playing as the player saw the value for the hard-earned credits are able to buy the skin the player hoped for, but such motivation can only go so far & it is slowly dying out. The player once got a chance to talk with someone that loved a character from "Eminence in Shadow" it was the first time the player gets to talk to someone directly using steam chat from Zeddy's ZE, and both of them talked thoroughly and found out that he was a returning player like the player.


One day, the player tried to interact with others with the character and model in-game , some of them ignored the player maybe !hide was on, but someone with a catgirl skin responded greatly , the player tried a heart spray on someone and was joyed to see it respond with a hat above the spray. The player was motivated to see such positivity and kept on playing, then the player also tried the heart spray on multiple people and all their responds were great, no matter it was a salt , a bullet shot ,a death ,a golden crown , a pig or a happy banana, all of em does not contain malicious intent. The player kept on doing it every time the player saw a chance to do so, connecting more and more dots unknowingly.

Every morning, the player and others will be greeted by a "Good morning" from a certain receptionist , the player liked the receptionist attitude , deemed it as lovely & respond accordingly. Hence a small dedicated playerbase was born

Months later, the player realized that the actions made on these few months connected all the dots altogether , no matter it was a old player or a returning player. The player had fun playing on the server seeing old people leading the map despite the cracks the player felt throughout the months. The player then started to play less due to real-life matters. Although the player wasn't able to experience the prime-time of the server, these few months was still a golden experience to the player.

On the day before CS2 release, the player played the map once longed years ago, and for the last time
The *ze_FFVII_Mako_Reactor_v5_3* a map that many has a love-hate relationship with it and lastly the player left the circle

Thank you all the players and friends I've met in ZE and those piggyback me knowing im bad at the game

The process of becoming a laser ♥♥♥, an obj ♥♥♥ or just casually enjoying the game with others from the hardwork of the mappers and commanders, the interaction between people friends or not, the individuals teaching the player to use item or do certain KZ, the player regard all these as precious memories

It was a once in a life-time experience & may we see each other again.
