This was a cool way to expand the Tron universe and any fan of the franchise should check this out. The game is only about 2-3 hours long and is relatively self-contained, but both movies are given minor nods. This game makes a good first impression toward a larger visual novel series that could happen in the future. A net positive overall.

Arizona Sunshine takes you through a zombie outbreak in the old west. We never find out why the dead (called "Freddies" here) have risen or why you are stranded in the desert, but that is really irrelevant to this type of game. Arizona Sunshine never tries to be anything more than a fun zombie romp in highly detailed and unique locations.

If you've played any zombie shooter, you'll be right at home. Both Oculus (w/Touch) and Vive users can play in tandem with one another in co-op, or you can go solo for a more difficult experience. Dead body chunks never looked better in VR!

This new season of the The Walking Dead certainly has a different feel to it. We see the outbreak from a completely different perspective and continue for quite some time before running into any previous continuity. The change in tone is also present in gameplay. The episodes are now more streamlined and action-based. After playing these first two episodes I was amazed at how fast I finished through them. I do recommend A New Frontier, but it does feel like a game in a much different series at times.

This is essentially a game based around reusing assets. The models are reused, the music is reused, and even parts of the story are directly reused from the original Final Fantasy IV. This really becomes a problem because, while there are a lot interesting game mechanics to explore, there is little reward to continuing forward. The few silver linings (mostly involving Kain) are all buried under a mountain of unneeded "nostalgia."

This is a game I keep wanting to finish in spite of it's faults, but I just can't bring myself to do so. There are just so much better games that stand on their own that warrent more attention. This sequel is so focused on reminding you about the original that it ends up destroying it's own potential. What a waste...

A very simple cute little game. Everything else is self-explanatory. The demo should take you 10-20 minutes to complete, so check it out!

I played this game over a friend's house as I don't have a VR headset at the moment. After sampling most of the VR games that are currently out, I played this game last and it stood out the most. Do note that it is more of an experience than an actual game.

The Cubical will do it's damnest to immerse you in an actual virtual world. It may not seem like there is much to the world in question, just being a cubical and all, but after a while things start to get peculiar. A great experience for anyone wishing to see how VR can react with your senses.

A beautiful game with engaging characters and one of the most interesting usages of time travel seen in recent years. This is the story of Max Caulfield and Chloe Price, close friends reconnecting for the first time after a long absence, all while also dealing with the social issues and strange phenomena in the small town of Arcadia Bay. There are twists and turns aplenty as the story progresses, culminating into some of most emotionally intense scenes in any form of media.

If you are a fan of the Telltale Games, particularly The Walking Dead and Back to the Future, this is a must buy. Purchase it, play it, and keep the tissue box close.

This a fun little text based adventure detailing a small high-school romance (even though the setting is in college). This game can hit you hard but only on that first playthrough. Subsequent times, you will see the tactics the game employs to get an emotional response. Regardless, the game is still worth experiencing through once for that brief feeling of tragic nostalgia.

If you are a fan of "The Neverhood" or of any other of Douglas TenNapel's work, chances are that you already bought Armikrog and probably supported it on Kickstarter. I'm personally not a huge fan of Kickstarter projects, but I am a fan of TenNapel and of the intricate visual style that can only be provided by stop-motion. This was something I've been waiting on for a while.

Armikrog plays exactly like The Neverhood: A point and click adventure game with strange puzzles to solve in order to progress. Though similar in visual style and surrealness, Armikrog differentiates itself from The Neverhood by being more science fiction inspired. You are exploring a relative catastrophe, rather than a world created by a deity. Sections with the blind dog Beak-Beak, with the appropriate visuals for a blind dog, help Armikrog stand out from its forerunner.

The game is really good, but it is an acquired taste. The puzzles in this game do require a lot of memorization and outside of the box thinking. The hints provided are also very vague, often you can find yourself getting stuck with no clue what to do. You need to have patience for these kinds of puzzles. If you don’t, then this game probably isn't for you.

The game could still use a bit of a tune-up, but is otherwise ready to go. A good return for the Neverhood crew!
