This game is the coolest thing ever and it's DOPE you can play co-op with friends. It's taken all the cool animations from the fighting game and brought them here in an easier to play game.

HOWEVER, the multiplayer is like wading through mud. Even when we're on the server with 23 ms. It was SO BAD. At this point let them just connect to me directly using steam servers.

The Good:
The game is hard and super pretty. I do love the visual aesthetic and how weapons, utility items and character specs give you a preferred play style. There are some things to long for however

[/b]The Questionable:[/b]
A lot of the reviews are because there are a lack of options like:
- Changing Keybinds is not currently in
- No Graphic settings
- No Sensitivity or invert settings.
- Hoverboard and movement feel stiff
- Game is hard
- Lack of onboarding.

The devs are currently working quickly for a patch to include options for 3 of those problems for options and bindings and want it our ASAP. A lot of roguelikes do not have onboarding and are hard. Hades is one of these games that they throw you in and you learn as you go and people love it. Although hades has some options to make the game easier and more accessible to those who are not up for he challenge. This is offset by including things to turn on and make the game harder however.

I do hope mobility is looked into as things feel... stiff. An example would be in Hades when you dodge you can kind of direct your dodge mid animation. Here you almost lack control. The Hoverboard is REALLY rigid. It turns via your viewpoint mostly but the A or D keys need to have greater influence than what they do.

You are also stuck in animations for your abilities and can not dodge cancel. So while you're doing your abilities, some enemies might not be hit since there are sometimes a lot. Thus you end up losing 80% of your health because you can't react in time. PLEASE give us animation canceling.

It's like Granblue Fantasy Relink, except the story is forgettable. The movement is not as fluid but in an OK spot with the animation cancels. This is a fun looter game to build up characters and play with 19 other randoms in maps with. 60$ worth? No way. Spend it on Granblue Relink. Looking for a looter where you can just jump in with 19 others? Then sure.

SAO FD is cool since I can run around with 19 other people and do quests or free roam where in Granblue Relink I only get 3 people.

I love how this game makes me feel like I'm literal trash floating in the winds of mechs having a Monster Hunter Turf war with various other factions. Instead of shoot things we're sneaking along the shadows and sometimes freezing like a deer in headlights when they run up along side you. Nothing of use in your backpack for them? Move aside, peasant. As long as you don't stay in their way for to long they'll almost completely ignore you.

Plenty of cool interactions to find out.. like looting mechanic parts from mechs might be something that has a GPS tracker and now the faction is sending speed units to intercept you. Oh you found weapon technology? We're Titanfall deploying something 10,000% the size of you. Did nothing and witnessed a faction take out another's elite? Radio chatter is going WILD and they're sending in even BIGGER units.

It's a simpler version of Rocket League! The art style is awesome. A big fan. I don't even like Harry Potter like that. I've seen 1 movie.
My wishes:
- Have a bit more depth, like curve shots.
- Ability to fly through some hazards like the columns or in the stands
- More than 3 people in the Solo/Coop mode
- More customization and cosmetics.

Cool Warframe-like game.

Needs heavy optimization fixes. Stuttering in lobby and in missions with not even that many enemies with a 3080.
Stuttering has been an issue for a lot since last beta. It'll even eat your cooldowns.

Honestly such a lovely Roguelike! Not only does it have the best customization out of all the ones I've played, the multiplayer is super fun. The weapons are all unique, they come with their own special abilities and even get random enchantments to make things interesting. The items have some super interesting effects and with the requirements for some of the extra side effects, it forces players to change up how their builds are dynamically. Very well done!

If I recall there is also some secret bosses and ways to get them. I had a lot of fun in the demos and glad to see the game advance forward! Such a great time. The art style is adorable as well!

Addressing some of the negative reviews:
"There is no couch co-op like the first one." Lost Castle 2 does not state to have Couch Co-op anywhere. Leaving a negative review for something it doesn't state to have is unfair.

"The HP value is to high later on" That's how game progression works. As you get closer to the end, enemies are stronger requiring a different play style. In a roguelike, you're supposed to die and use the currency from each run to make yourself stronger to make the next time easier.

"Desync is everywhere." This one is a hard one. The biggest issue is the game doesn't tell you it puts your default server in China. You need to go to your campfire and change the server to the correct region. If you just start Multiplayer without changing the region, you'll have some big problems. Playing with friends from the same region had 0 issues. When playing with my friend from Australia, we have 95% normal gameplay. There was slight desync once but it quickly corrected itself.

Unfortunately with how the devs are slowly becoming greedier, I don't think I can recommend the game anymore. While you do not need to interact with buying cosmetics, watching them slowly become more gacha centered I think kills it for me.

Cool base game! Don't think I wanna support them anymore though~
