Base game is very good. Just don't buy the DLC

Really bad DLC. Bosses are not fun to fight at all. Constant unpredictable 5-6 hit combo attacks that 1 or 2 shot you. Almost no attack windows, have fun using 1 light attack every 3 minutes. The damage even with all the new buffs still is way too big.

FInal boss is probably the worst. Myazaki had no clue what he was doing with this DLC. Story wise and gameplay wise it's just really bad. Environments are nice too bad everything we do in there is just rage inducing.

Fromsoft literally thought let's take the most disliked parts about the main game. Put ALL of it in the DLC, and dial it up to eleven. It's a lazy way of adding difficulty.

Performance wise the DLC is attrocious too. For around half of the roster of bosses if you looked in a certain direction or if they did a specific attack FPS would just drop to 20-30fps (I am on a 4090 and ryzen 7800X3D). This makes certain attacks of bosses just nigh unavoidable, combined witht the ridiculous difficulty and its just cringe.

"That's not how you increase difficulty" is how I would summarize this entire DLC. Also beating final boss doesn't do anything. No new ending unlocks, nothing you get a small cutscene with 3 lines and that's it. All the build up in the main game to have some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retcon happen at the end with the final boss's identity and the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cutscene to close it off.

This DLC seriously hurts the quality of the main game a lot. Main game was easily 8.5, now with DLC it's like 7. DLC itself I would rate a 4/10.

Everyone could play the game fine since launch and now suddenly we need to get a PSN account in the future even though I dont even own a Playstation and never will because consoles are a blight on the gaming industry with the predatory capitalist strategies companies employ to keep their outdated hardware boxes relevant.

Chinese Apex Rip-off sums it up. Buggy game, countless of crashes. Movement feels buggy, spawns are ♥♥♥♥. Gunplay is mid at best. Balancing is a complete joke, heavies rule the game. Only cheese everywhere as soon as objectives get locked down, turrets, gas, fire, combined with way too many teams.

Pathetic excuse for a comp mode. No role que, no rank based matchmaking. You don't have a heavy well RIP. No party based matchmaking. Have fun duo'ing and getting a third ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that the game thinks deserves a free carry. Have to play four matches too for rank so you're busy for like +30 minutes instead of just having one match.

Game has no artstyle or any artistic charm to it at all honestly. Models look like they are mass bought from Unity asset stores. Characters are hideous with the most uninspired cosmetics ever. Maps are boring and uninspired.

Hard to believe that this studio is founded by "Industry Veterans". Like I said seems more like some bad indie attempt or a chinese rip-off game of more popular triple AAA shooters.

For a multiplayer game It's just too buggy and sadly it does not seem to be the main priority to fix these bugs. Two years ago me and friends played this game for the first time and we were plagued with pretty game-breaking issues I'd say. Ships disappearing, causing you to get stuck in space. Ships themselves getting stuck.

Fast forward two years later and somehow the game still has the exact type of issues it had two years ago. Bugs are one thing but these types of bugs for two years?! And then I see the devs work up new armor textures for the latest update like wtf? Wherea are your priorities. Bugs can be fixed, bad priorities can't and this game has some of the worst it seems.

It's a psychologically exploitive cyclus of delivering only good content once a full moon only to then drip feed content for ridiculous prices for as long as possible until they've reached a breaking point with customers. Then they make something decent and the cycle continues again. All the while saying we're listening.
