UNLESS I'm stupid, the core gameplay loop changed from something interesting to boring.
Previously, you went through rooms 1 at a time, kill 75% of enemies, kill a boss, get an item, and go.
That was fine, but now the loop is more boring, instead progressing 1 level at a time through portals; you can skip killing X% of enemies - Getting perma-items is harder now and basically It was better in the past.

Good Graphics
Excellent Gameplay

Great choice of options.

Cons:
Humour has kind of dried out, the original guy was an over-saturated stereotypical Strong-Bad chinese guy, but this one a tad less over the top.
