I hate to have to join the review bombing but honestly since the time I bought the game, its been getting worse. I couldn't tell you why this is happening but the Los Suenos Stories update has finally put the nail in the coffin.

No, I'm not hopping on the "they're censoring the game!!!" bandwagon, they hardly changed anything that would warrant it. Instead I am more focused on how they decided to make the console release work. Now both games have the same textures and assets. Great for console right? No.

They made the textures bad on pc to "optomize for console". So pc gets worse textures and console gets a watered down version of the game too. Also the new animations are incredibly rough, and sure, the old ones were too when they were first added but they should have tested it more right? And don't get me started about the sound physics. I am hearing suspects call out to me as if they are standing right in front of me with no muffling when they are through an entire floor of a building.

I used to like this game a lot, I hope they turn it around, and fix their mistakes. I don't want this to become another Cities: Skylines II or Kerbal Space Program 2.

1st of all, ♥♥♥♥ Colossal Order and Paradox Interactive and anyone else who is involved in the development process of this hot garbage.

Anyway, this game is... bad, awful, borderline unplayable. It runs either perfectly fine or incredibly slow, it has a 50% chance of crashing upon opening, takes forever to start and then you have to wait forever for it to load any mods. Speaking of which, just don't even try to use mods. They have a 99% chance of completely breaking every update.

Recently I discovered that my largest city, and first city, Stroud (700k population), was destroyed by a crash that happened while it was saving. It is corrupted beyond any repair, unsalvageable, All because this game crashes so incredibly often.

I am beyond livid with the state of this game and hate it more every time I play it. If I could choose any game to remove from everyone's memory forever and erase from history, it would be Cities: Skylines II.

Won the last 20 games I played suck it losers

Well the game is ok.

First of all, you get to do just about nothing unless you buy dlcs for it and even then a lot of the dlcs are just ripped straight from TSW2 and look terrible.

Secondly, the game has it's fair share of bugs and overall dumb things that could easily be made better. Sometimes people at stations will randomly fly away or disappear. If its raining on snowing it will cover your windshield, until you go in and out of 1st person because that just resets it back to no rain or snow on it. Hitboxes while walking around are not good at all. The sound for the Class 395's wipers makes me want to jump out a window. Sometimes you will completely lose the ability to use your wipers at all. Whenever you are in 3rd person you can see rain around the camera but if you move the camera it will go away for a few moments and its very easy to tell that the rain just doesn't render further than 10ft from you.

The game is very hard to learn for a lot of people. Figuring out how to change power mode in british trains took a few days for me to almost understand and I still do it wrong sometimes now.

It looks really good, sometimes. Dlc routes are either terrible or great in terms of looks. The issue is how much performance you need to be able to actually play. I have a 3070 and a Ryzen 5 7600X and I struggle to run it at 60fps 1080p sometimes and I don't use max settings.

Also, TSW4 is out???? TSW3 isn't even polished in the slightest, like, seriously Dovetail? I will never buy a TSW game ever again unless some miracle like Dovetail getting bought out happens because they do not care about the games they make. They just release unpolished buggy pieces of garbage and don't actually fix anything.

Overall, don't buy this game unless you want a buggy, slow, and terrible looking train operation experience.

Level run and 974 are literally the easiest things ive ever done and level 0 and 0.95 are literally impossible to beat without a full 8 person lobby. Not very fun at all.

Its decent

I got it without reading the disclaimer about needing to own NY-Trenton or Boston-Providence but from the training the train looks and feels nice when driving. Now I just have to wait for the opportunity to get the Boston-Providence line (because NY-Trenton is a dumpster fire from what I've seen) to actually get to experience it on a realistic timetable.

This game is so ass. The bullets go straight through your opponents 60% of the time, pawns are super op, and any piece can just get one shot by a rook being played by a sweaty little computer gremlin. The game barely even plays like chess because everything depends on the shooter part. Checkmating is completely impossible because the King can just destroy the attacking pieces. Would not recommend.

If you are cool then you should most likely not get the game. (Straight up abandoned by the devs)
