The problem with recommending an Owlcat game is that it's always an investment in the future, rather than the present. In three, four, maybe five years this will be an amazing game. Once all the bugs are worked out, and all the combat is balanced, and all the archetypes are present, and all the expansions are released, and so on and so forth.

Game keeps getting better. Game's not great yet, but it will be.

So, there are two reasons to buy this game now, rather than later. First, buying it now will encourage Games Workshop to let them keep the licence and make more content. Second, buying this game now will encourage them to make more content, and thus improve that final product.

Don't delay. The Emperor protects.

Despite the content and art, this is a very good platformer/metroidvania, whose developer has been very attentive to baseline fixes. I wish I could recommend it more properly, but there's no real way to do so; a PG-13 version would miss the point, I'm afraid. If you do feel comfortable playing it, you'll get an excellent game with great art and astounding voicing and design. That's all I can say.

Full disclosure - I was a kickstarter backer.

An interesting little game, let down a little by somewhat floaty controls that might very well have been intentional. There's not a lot of combat; you use a stun gun to clear obstacles and drive away fish that want to hurt you. Scaling for some of the fish is all over the place, which works for a game but does somewhat surprise me.

Not a bad little effort, and I think the team behind it has a bit of a future in the industry.

This is the one you have been waiting for.

Parkasaurus is the real deal. While there is a campaign mode, it mostly consists of doing the work you bought the game for: Running a zoo full of dinosaurs. And unlike certain competitors, the sandbox mode is both open from the start and genuinely a sandbox mode, where you can do whatever you want.

If there were some complaints it's that heart unlocking is not very well explained and some essential biome items are gated behind second-tier hearts; you also start research and heart from scratch at every level. But that's a minor problem. Buy this game.

It's a good game. Not a huge fan of Paradox's DLC policies, but by this point that's just the way it goes.

Worth a look, certainly. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the updates and the traits and so on being implemented.

Very good. I'm looking forward to seeing more. At present there does not seem to be a way to adjust the size of charges independently, and it's not quite at the stage of being able to match some of the more complicated coats of arms out there.B But they're making great progress, and I was happy to support them.

If you are a fan of the Lodoss Franchise, most of which was never officially released for the Western market, and Metroidvania games, you will enjoy this game. So, if you are in that venn diagram, this is an excellent purchase. If you aren't a fan of Lodoss, then you will probably struggle to understand the characters and concepts within this game.

This is an excellent Metroidvania platformer, requiring timing to switch between the elements to proceed through the levels. There are a few things I would question, such as the layout of save spots and portals, but nothing so far that I wouldn't recommend.

This is a fun game. It is. It's a lot of fun. The characters are fun. The graphics are fun. The writing is fun. I loved it. The setting is fun. This game has a lot of good ideas, wrapped up in better ideas. I'm kind of surprised it didn't make a bigger impact.

Originally this review was quite negative, but the developer responded almost immediately! I now recommend this game wholeheartedly and I will be purchasing the other edition soon.l

I've certainly enjoyed my time in Maj'Eyal, though I'm not a particular fan of roguelikes in general. The writing is charming enough to make up for the often unfair and quite frequent deaths. I would recommend trying the game for free on the website first.

I've experienced a few gamebreaking bugs, but nothing out of the ordinary.
