Once Human is a fun game, but it has its flaws.
Without the option for server transfers, I recommend not spending any money on it.
If the game goes bankrupt and can't deliver it, then it is what it is.
The developers should have made it more accessible before launch.

The First Descendant," a looter shooter game by Nexon, blends Warframe's crafting and module systems with Destiny's weapon and gearing mechanics. It features a linear map akin to Outriders and a simple UI similar to Destiny.

Beyond showcasing attractive female characters to entice players to spend money, the game deliberately makes crafting materials drop rates extremely low, requiring significant time and resources to farm. Essentially, playing for free is an exercise in frustration.

In my honest opinion, you should stop playing and uninstall the game after completing the main story campaign. The First Descendant is designed with only vertical progression and no horizontal progression, meaning the post-campaign gameplay becomes increasingly painful.

The game modes are limited and repetitive, with only 5-6 variations, and the bosses lack variety. For a superior experience in this genre, I recommend Warframe.

I strongly dislike the approach of balancing by solely nerfing weapon performance, rather than adjusting enemy behaviors and stats. It feels like we're constantly solving a puzzle, only for ArrowHead to change the rules and take away our tools.

I play games for enjoyment, not to endure frustration. It often feels like I'm fighting a war without proper support, despite claims that the game is evolving. Instead of enemies evolving, it seems our weapons are constantly malfunctioning, with "balancing" used as an excuse.

FOMO is the only weakness of this game.

My personal 2024 GOTY
None of other games' companion so much personal as Dragon's Dogma 2.
Felt "My heart it... aches.", when you truly play through it as a journey.
If I have choice, I will take blue pill every time to simply stay with my pawn.

Early Access Review
Enshrouded is not a bad game, but it still falls short of expectations.

Good: The map is large and filled with numerous dungeons and points of interest, providing hours of exploration. The action is good and responsive, however...

Bad: The design of skills feels incomplete; for example, abilities like double jump could be more versatile, akin to a grappling hook, as an essential exploration utility. Many class directions lack clarity regarding their advantages and specialties, resulting in the most useful skill points being health-related in this early access phase.

The weapon level system is perhaps the aspect I dislike the most. Weapon level determines damage, not weapon rarities. As a result, any high-level weapon can easily outperform hard-to-find low-level legendary weapons. This design forces players to exploit the system to grind for the weapons they want and devalues low-level, high-rarity weapons. It feels like a typical MMO bs design.

It's not a ordinary COLOPL game, with 0 gacha system and actually quite fun and pokemon-ish relaxing game play....
A surprised well done game. Hope to see more update in future.
